A Middle Eastern woman was caught surveilling a U.S. port of entry on the Mexican border holding a sketchbook with Arabic writing and drawings of the facility and its security system, federal law enforcement sources tell Judicial Watch.
The woman has been identified as 23-year-old Leila Abdelrazaq, according to a Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) report obtained by JW this week. Abdelrazaq appeared to have two accomplices, a 31-year-old man named Gabriel Schivone and a 28-year-old woman named Leslie Mcafee. CBP agents noticed the trio “observing the facilities” at the Port of Mariposa in Nogales, Arizona on December 2. Schivone was first noticed inside the entrance of the pedestrian area while the two women stood outside by the entry door, the CPB document states.
When federal officers asked Abdelrazaq why she was drawing sketches of the facilities she “stated because she’s never been to the border,” according to the CBP report. Abdelrazaq resisted showing officers the sketchbook, citing personal reasons, but subsequently handed it over. “During the inspection of the Abdelrazaq sketching book, CBPOs noticed the book contained writings in English and Arabic language,” federal officers write in the document. “There were drawings of what appeared to be vehicle primary inspection area and an additional drawing of pedestrian turn stile gate depicting video surveillance cameras above the gate.” The report proceeds to reveal that the drawings were “partial and incomplete.”
This incident is only the latest of individuals of Middle Eastern origin being apprehended on the Mexico/Arizona border. There were two incidents – one involving five men, and another involving six men – in the past few weeks. https://stellasplace1.com/2015/12/04/middle-eastern-men-arrested-near-mexican-border-with-steel-cylinders/

Have “we, the (little) people” been Officially Admonished yet and told we’re Islamophobic for even noticing, let alone sharing, this little tidbit?

Probably. Although the New York Times reported it, so we’re safe – this time.

The New York Times did not report this (as far as I know) – got mixed up on my posts, which is what I get for answering comments in the notification window!

Reconing the Objective. I would say an attack on the objective is within a 30 day window.

Or a breach of the perimeter.
The fact that this happened on Dec 2 is curious in light of San Bern. What if it was a recon for an exfil?

Good question, an attack, diversion now, or later……I have to get out of the weeds. Something is up……

Colonel, check today’s Treehouse OT. There are some other curious reports out today about possible recon’s.

The dangerous reconnaissance missions are the ones that you do not clue in to. That which is seen (and mentally processed), usually gets countered.

Why? To watch the Nancy Drew Crew chase their tails? I’d rather be more productive and actually try and help people understand what’s going really going on than to be someone’s clickbait TYVM.

I was just about to post this exact same thing in Stella’s open thread! It just dawned on me what you guys had done. Only took me what a couple of weeks to realize, LOL

Ziiggii, I was once told: ” when the student is ready, the teacher will appear”.
I have had several teachers over the years. They were all gracious, though gruff men. I can’t say that I always appreciated at the time what was taught. But learn, I did.
All that was learnt, well, it was not just the teachers teaching.

Well this student is ready and has been for awhile! Just wished I had the courage to engage sooner than the last 18 months or so.

Ziiggii, no worries.
It is those who fail to appreciate that despite their not being interested in war, war remains very interested in them.
Find like minded folks in your local AO. At a minimum, work the soft sell to ascertain audience receptiveness to your line of thought.
It is these small acts, written across a whole nation and its people, that will generate support.

Col Ken, I think it’s a planned and theatrical diversion, much like the reports of sightings of suspicious looking types surveying dams and major drinking water reservoirs. They can’t poison them, their opportunity to wire them for demo iffy at best….. my antennae is up because I can’t figure out what we’re being diverted FROM at this point.
This Regime is very good at the sleight of hand. I wrote a comment over at Small Dead Animals blog about our experience on a flight back to US from Frankfurt and our man-handling at the gate so they could load human cargo they didn’t want anyone to see – and it wasn’t low key SF. Those guys were in the back with us, well away from the mysterious passengers. Really, really unnerving.

YTZ, you are not being diverted. It is all part of the strategy of tension. It is meant to be a news item. Look at how successful Operation GLADIO was in Italy during the “days of lead”. Same overall principle, just keep ratcheting up the tension to make the proletariat beg, nay plead with tears in their eyes, for the goobermint to “do something about (fill in the blank)”.

Well, one of my unproven working theories is that is why they’re hellbent on importing teh muzzies. They tried and tried and tried to get the marginalized underclass blacks to go into white middleclass neighborhoods and kick off some sportiness, but they have too strong a sense of self-preservation to play. Some they had to bring in the “B” team.
Buckle your seatbelts, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

YTZ, your theory is proving itself out every day. You are right.
It is my hope that Americans will look upon their daily interactions and realize what has changed over the past 8, 10-20 years. The answer is plain and stark, but must be reached individually.
Funny story that illustrates how far down the progressive hole I had been gaslighted… I was driving through a part of a state I have never been a resident of. Approaching a base where a work function was going to take place. I don’t know what it was, but all of a sudden I realized the physical truth behind a colloquial American phrase. It quite actually hit me in a rush of cognition. The environment I was slowly driving through in the Piedmont coast shattered ignorance. Funny thing was, I was not even looking for or thinking about enlightenment at the time. It just happened, revealed wisdom, as it were.

They’ll have to ratchet things up quite a lot to gain the attention of the proletariat. They are much more interested in Miley Cyrus’ new video, and Kim Kardashian’s new baby.

Depressing, but true. As we’ve seen. Which only gets me double plus spun up, because I would prefer for things NOT to get sporty. I like it when people ask me what’s new, and I say “nothing”.

Stella, I sense that you are right. Americans have a long way to go before they are uncomfortable enough to consider the ramifications of having been lied to for generations by Progressive activists, both identified and hidden.

Ziiggi,
Why make it obvious? The border is porous BIDIRECTIONALLY. Why bother with such formalities if you are exfiltrating as a terror team?
A march further, why bother going straight to Mexico? This was amateur hour. Clowns go to Mexico, it requires no imagination. There are other areas that resemble a geographic ice cream cone that are more amenable to them dropping off the face of the earth.

Colonel just tickled me the right way in mentioning 4th GW. I hadn’t thought about that since I was in college. Thus the reason I’ve been “ooh!” the past couple of days.
Most of you guys are 20+ years my senior. I bow to ya’lls wisdom and relish sitting at your feet learning. I just am slow on the uptake at times.

Lind is not the architect. He is the best author to have explained it to the non-military, non-strategic mind.

I’ve never thought Lind was a “genuis”. He’s a very good packager and marketer, but I know other military scholars that are far more erudite IMO. But then, I got my head bit off at a symposium once expressing that opinion whereby I was informed he is a “National Treasure”. Haven’t voiced an opinion since.

YTZ, “national treasures” still put their trousers on one leg at a time. They also have belly buttons and a 5th point of contact. In my experience, they all generally stink. Now, I Like Bill Lind’s work. I am less charitable to some of the other drivel out there.

Colonel Ken, The event may be a “demonstration” in terms of that tactical mission. For all those out there who never were subjected to staff planning beatings, it i sthe use of a force or element to draw attention. It is the bright shiny object, the “look, squirrel!”.
The specific military definition of “demonstration” is a lot different than a bunch of smelly hippies waving signs. Although, in retrospect, it could very well be in 4th Generation warfare.
