Armed protest tomorrow at north Texas mosque

mosquerichardsontexasThe Bureau of American Islamic Relations group, which held an armed protest outside a mosque in Irving TX, now plans one in Richardson TX on Saturday, December 12.

David Wright III, speaking for BAIR, says there are reasons why the protest is justified.

“Back in 2005, there was an investigation into that mosque and the Holy Land Foundation which was tied to that mosque, and they found they had funded terrorist groups,” says Wright.

“They build these huge multi-million dollar mosque complexes, then they buy up 90 percent of the homes in the area,” he says.  “In Richardson, they’ve renamed the residential streets to reflect Islamic culture.”

Wright said that their protest will be peaceful, and that carrying arms is for personal protection only.

Wright’s group will not be unopposed. As reported by LiveLeak.com:

On the other side of Dallas, the Richardson planned protest heats up with a new entrant, a group called the “Anti-Bureau of American Islamic Relations” (Anti-BAIR).

Formed online November 22, the day after armed protesters from the Bureau of American Islamic Relations (BAIR), demonstrated outside of the Islamic Center of Irving, the Anti-BAIR also nicknamed “BAIR Trapper,” will come to the Richardson mosque where BAIR plans to protest armed also on December 12. The mosque, formally named the Islamic Association of North Texas and/or the Dallas Central Mosque, was set up originally to financially benefit Hamas and other terrorist activities by funding the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which Breitbart Texas’ Lana Shadwick reported.

Breitbart Texas spoke with Anti-BAIR organizer Patrick Kelly, who said his group will not hold an armed-counter protest but “…be available as escorts for those being intimidated by BAIR should the mosque want us to perform those duties. The last thing that we want is an escalation at one of these events and we certainly wouldn’t want to cause problems for the members of the mosque.” ….

The Richardson mosque will conduct their regularly scheduled services Saturday. Imam Shpendim Nadzaku at the Richardson mosque told Breitbart Texas they intend to hold a press conference that day to address this matter. Breitbart Texas also spoke to Richardson police department spokesman Adam Perry, who said to expect a police presence. Although all protesters are free to be in a public place, officers will clarify “what the rules are” so that demonstrations remain “in the boundaries of the law.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if the media reported this event as patriots trying to bring awareness to the mosques terrorists ties, instead it is going to be portrayed as crazy rightwing xenophobic bigots.

God forbid there should ever be a gun battle that breaks out at one of these events, I believe Team Obama would wet themselves in their rush to to try and further subvert our second amendment rights.

I do find some solace in seeing some of America waking up, whether it is too little too late is yet to be seen.
