Mornin; Wee, everyone. No snow here. But, it did rain like the dickens. However, I find it strange that it rained so hard and yet I only show 1/2 inch in the rain gauge. I waited to get up until it let up some. So, Loki got to take her walk and it has quit raining altogether for now. She has been fed and is taking her morning nap. So, now I can fix mine. Hope everyone survived the storm they talked about last night.

Just stopped by next door for a quick visit. It amazes me what that site has become. I know that a number of folks who hang out here at Stella’s are familiar with some of the shared history, and know that a lot of that success would not have happened without the help of Wee, Stella, and Menagerie, along with a few others that we don’t see nearly as much, I’m speaking to you, Puddy!. I remember when we all got so excited when we/you hit a million views, then 5mm, then things really exploded. I think that primarily revolved around the Trayvon situation. That seems like s hundred years ago now. As I’ve taken a few more trips around the sun, it is so nice to have a place to roost that is quiet and seems to run much more at my pace. I really enjoy the family you’ve been able to gather together here, Stella. Thank you.
Glad to have the old friends and new who hang out here, Tex. Wouldn’t hurt to have a BIT more traffic though! It’s good to see more of you lately, btw.
CTH has evolved, that’s for sure. Sundance is still Sundance, but I can’t really say that I enjoy reading the comments sections these days.
Thank you for the kind words. I enjoy hanging out here when I can. Still working, so sometimes my leisure time ebbs and flows. This is much more relaxing, BTW. As to the last part of your response, I concur. A different breed from what we started with.
Must confess I was part of the Treyvon boom and do miss the lighthearted element in the comments. Sorta like when a little kid grows up and becomes more serious. Just not the same…but there is still some good content sprinkled throughout.
If you want to see media bias, here is a perfect example. All you have to do is read the first two sentences in this article. Keep in mind that the hostage situation took place in a Jewish synagogue.
