Good morning and happy Thursday. We have rain today, but that’s okay, I only need to go to the drug store at some point. I’m staying in to clean out the refrigerator. Exciting day! I hope you guys have something a little better planned.
Fall recipes! I made a beef and barley soup that was really good this week. Any inspiration appreciated.
Mornin’ Menage, that reminds me I need to clean out my fridge, too. I do have to take Loki in for a kennel cough shot. I thought it was yesterday, but, when I checked the calendar again, I saw it wasn’t until today. 🙄 At least I wasn’t late. LOL
It’s such a bother cleaning out the refrigerator. My mom used vinegar, but I found the Everclear grain alcohol does a great job. There is no way I’m letting my refrigerator get warm to wash the inside of it, and the since Everclear is alcohol which is a solvent, it stays liquid and dissolves any spills.
It’s time for me to clean it again. Anyone else have any good ideas on cleaning the refrig while keeping it cold?
I’m going to make chili soon, probably this weekend. Just got done cleaning out the fridge, now I’ve got to take the garbage out for pickup tomorrow. It’s one of the chores I just hate. Feels good to have it done. Well, except maybe tomorrow I’ll set out the condiments and clean the door shelves. Done for today.

I guess is true for the machine, but not for the person. There is more I could comment, but I won’t. It’s a family friendly website. Thanks for not posting some of the pixelated out images shown on other websites.
I’ll just go wash my eyes out now.
Except for a few days with rain in the forecast, we are having my favorite weather. Lows in the fifties and highs in the sixties and seventies. I think a sunny 65 is about the best weather in the whole world, especially on a fall day.
Last night before bed we sat out on the swing and watched the moon through the trees and swirly, mysterious clouds. Looked like a perfect Halloween picture.
As Gomer used to say, surprise, surprise, surprise! Fauci exposed as the liar we all knew he was. The question now is why? Why now. What’s coming next. These things don’t just happen out of thin air.
Yes, what is coming next? They have come up with the boosters that will have to be given every 6 months, or else. What’s next? And, WHY don’ t the illegal aliens and Afghans have to have the shots? You know our well being is not their concern. So what is the reason for the Vaccs? What is the reason?

Stuffed veal shoulder with horseradish mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. I ate it all, and it was way too much food!

Hi Menage! My frig needs to be cleaned too. We had a thunderstorm this morning, but it is clear now.
I made chili a couple of days ago, and am enjoying it for lunches.
