Good mornin’, and happy Friday! It’s been quite a week kids! Already got rid of two pigs in the swamp, and looks like we might be getting gas prices to continue heading south any day now! Believe it or not, this beauty can be had from your local Wally-World. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.
Mornin’ kids! This maneuver is called the super delta, performed by the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds together. I’ve seen both numerous times – but never together.
Saw the Blue Angels at the Chicago Air & Water Festival on the waterfront. They were diving right above our heads and it about scared the devil out of me!
Mornin’ All. It is 35*, sunny, and the snow is melting. However, it is supposed to start snowing again in a couple of hours and maybe it will turn into rain. Right now, it looks like a pretty day.
I have an unusual sheet pan dinner in the oven. It is cabbage, onions, sausage and pierogi. If you’re interested, here’s the video of Nicole making it (starts at 8:10). I’ll let you know how it turns out. I am using sweet Italian sausage instead of Kielbasa, because that is what I had in my freezer, ditto red cabbage instead of green, and I added a sweet bell pepper too.
Tastes really good to me. The cabbage and onion are sweet, the sausage is a little spicy, the sauce is pleasantly acid/sweet. The pierogi tastes great with a bit of sour cream.
