I cannot recall what the locals called it, we had precious little contact other than stopping in a town to top off our supplies and we went from area to area, there were too many great parks and other areas for us to spend much time in any obe area. Ahhhhh yessssss…..Wendover, remember it well. Back in the day there were tour busses that departed with Salt Lake Valley residents who’d go there for the ‘visual,oanoramas’ and ‘cultural offerings’. Sort of like the steady stream of vehicles going from the Valley to Evanston, Wyoming on Friday and Saturday nights…for the cultural offerings. The casinos and bars in Wendover and wall-to-wall bars in Evanston were just distractions to the Faithful visiting the…cultural attractions.
That Mohawk Nation thing brings back memories too. A few years back there were busts in that area as the nation, which straddles the US border, for drug and illegal Chinese immigrant smuggling. They’d be smuggled into Canada – not that hard – and smuggled into the US thru the Nation.

Yeah, this place was a desert until just a few years ago when the climate warmed/cooled/changed, pick on…or more. Those huge floods on the past 200-plus years were just floods, the ones since the more enlightened socio-environmentalists started commenting are the result of evil human activities.

Ahhhhh yessssss…..Wendover, remember it well. Back in the day there were tour busses that departed with Salt Lake Valley residents who’d go there for the ‘visual,oanoramas’ and ‘cultural offerings’. Sort of like the steady stream of vehicles going from the Valley to Evanston, Wyoming on Friday and Saturday nights…for the cultural offerings. The casinos and bars in Wendover and wall-to-wall bars in Evanston were just distractions to the Faithful visiting the…cultural attractions.
That Mohawk Nation thing brings back memories too. A few years back there were busts in that area as the nation, which straddles the US border, for drug and illegal Chinese immigrant smuggling. They’d be smuggled into Canada – not that hard – and smuggled into the US thru the Nation.
Then there was that little incident where the Vermont NG helicopter was shot down over the Nation’s reservation, reports for years were that it was shot down by an RPG but later, for whatever reasons, it was changed to ‘shot down by gunfire’.

As far as Wendover and Evanston went, it was just thevfaithful out searching for a union with the spirit. On the Mowhawks, I didn’t even mention the persons of Mideast extraction that were caught schlepping across the border into the US while carrying explosives…some years before 911. Never did find out what rabbit hole they disappeared down.

The fire pit is is burning, ready for the steaks, burgers, dogs, and shrimp. Canopy is up to shade the seating, drinking , and eating area. Big screen is on. The adult refreshments are iced. The usual cast of suspects will show up around noon, And everyone here is invited……an afternoon of good conversation, fellowship, free food/beer. Not a cloud in the sky!!!!!

Speaking of hijackers of the Religion of Peace…the NYC Fire Department 911 Memorial Stair Climb was held today, firefighters each wore an ID from one of the firefighters murdered by MOSLEM terrorist murderers on 911 and,wearing full equipment, climbed the equivalent of 110 stories. Didn’t see anybstories about Hellary joining in; you know, just to show she CAIRed.

Hillary takes directions and most likely cash from a guy who wholesaled Jews while Bill takes money from Mideasterners who shielded and most likely aided/abetted the hijackers, and let’s not forget he sanctioned the destruction of 76 Christian men, women and children who didn’t toe his line.
Both Hellery and Bill are going go import millions of Moslem and Latino immigrants if the leaked Soros plans are true, irrevocably changing the US from a vibrant center of productivity and democracy into a feeding trough for Democrat rodents and the parasites they’ll bleed to feed the slowly dying working class.
Great time to be a non-English speakin illegal and/or terrorist looking for a handout. Bad to be to be a Jew or Christian with a job, bank account and self-respect?

The last of the free beer/leftovers left an hour or so ago. Clean up done, we moved indoors around 9 pm…..rain, T/L nothing major, over in 30 minutes…… Great football game…….. I’m beat, feel like I just went thru Hell Week!! Got to get my wind for the season….. I’ll take 3rd Watch, Stand To 0530
