Here are a couple more of a similar peacock look in Charlevoix. Obviously the lighthouse itself isn’t one of the grand ones, but it’s a favorite spot for photos from professionals and amateurs alike….

I might have posted the live feed from the bridge before. I watch it all the time…not exactly sure why. Picturing myself in the scene is calming, I guess. There was no snow on the ground whenI viewed it around midnight….

Good afternoon, Stella! Charlevoix is an absolutely beautiful place and interesting history, too.

Other nice things: You can get absolutely fresh lake fish for lunch or dinner. I had the best fish and chips I have ever had in a small inexpensive restaurant in Charlevoix. Nice public golf courses. The hotel we stayed in was right on the river where it joins the lake. We had a lovely large balcony. Lake Charlevoix is beautiful. We were there in May, prior to the big tourist season, although the weather was lovely (lucky there!) There are touristy boat tours; one goes to Beaver Island which was one ruled over by America’s only Mormon King, James J. Strang. From Wikipedia:

Once established on Beaver Island, Strang declared himself a polygamist, contrary to his previous opposition of it. He had five wives, one male lover and fathered a total of fourteen children.

In 1850, Strang proclaimed himself king, not of the island, but of his church, which then included most of the inhabitants of the island. He was crowned on July 8 of that year inside a large log “tabernacle” that his adherents erected, in an elaborate coronation ceremony. On him was bestowed a crown that a witness described as “a shiny metal ring with a cluster of glass stars in the front”, a royal red robe, shield, breastplate, and wooden scepter. The Strangite tabernacle and Strang’s house are no longer extant, and also the Strangite regalia, yet a printing shop that his disciples erected persists as the only Strangite construction remaining in the island. Presently the printing shop houses a museum of insular history.

Strang was assassinated in 1856 and his followers were expelled from Beaver Island by angry mobs.

Then there are the mushroom houses. Fun to look at, but I guess you can rent some of them:

Sheriffs have responsibility for mostly rural and unincorporated areas, where there are more conservatives than progressives. And more people who can defend themselves, which sheriffs appreciate since they can’t got out in the woods quickly. Our sheriff told Czar it would be more than 20 minutes response time for any emergency call.

Yes, I was just thinking about Soro$ ref the sheriff video above; time to replace local sheriffs with dems. (Already taken care of governors and mayors…)

Good day, Wee! Hopefully our favorite billionaire isn’t included; but considering the tweet date is August 23, 2019, he probably is.

Websites list Amir Talai as an “activist.” He calls himself a “Warren Democrat” on his Twitter description. “Be rude = get blocked. Actor, singer, writer. Great with facial expressions. HH2023(!AD). Warren Democrat. Proverbs 14:31, 31:8-9 Douchetown,USAimdb.com/name/nm1197519/Joined March 2009”

He’s of Iranian extraction but no mention of what’s happening today in Iran or whether he calls himself Persian, which would be a dead giveaway that he’s against the present regime and the Bidenhandler being co-opted by the mullahs.
