Mornin’ All. Nice out now. Not exactly cool, a little humid, and very sunny with clouds building up. We had a T-storm yesterday and it poured like crazy for at least 20 or 30 minutes. The only reason I was aware of it was because I was at the laundromat and both ends of the room are glass windows so you could see all the clouds and the rain.
I still haven’t searched out a new food for Loki and she is getting low. I looked on the Internet at the place the vet told me about. There are no prices. I figure it is too expensive for me if they don’t put prices on it. Maybe I will check at PetSmart. There is one near me.
Seeing some bad weather down south. Hope everyone stays safe.

Mornin’ mom! I order from Chewy and have my dog and cat food delivered. Their prices are reasonable, and they carry everything.

I was just comparing dog foods and I think it was on Dog food Advisor that they said the best food was Purina Pro Plan, so I wrote it down, and a few paragraphs later they said it was a bad food for dogs. Makes it hard to make a decision.
I looked at reviews and it seemed that most people liked Publix Premium Dog Food, and a few said it was terrible. One said it caused his dogs to have terrible gas. I wondered if he started them on it gradually like they recommend. Loki has done very well on it, has no gas, has a shiny coat, and more energy than is expected from an 11 year old dog.
I will have to buy something local since she is so close to being out. I may need to try a couple and make sure she will eat it. I laugh as I type that, since she vacuums whatever is in her bowl up and wants to eat the big dog’s food at my kids house.

Three things dogs need in their food. organ meat, omega-3, and prebiotics. The organ meat should not be cooked. Most all dog food is cooked, that kills lots of the goodies in food, so they must add them back with chemicals. That’s not too good for dogs. Deli meat is another that has tons of chemicals added. So look for the good food and if you can, get it freeze dried instead of cooked. After 10 years of dry dog food, I put my Lab on the same diet I di for me, made a world of difference that you’ll see noticeably.

Freeze dried? I haven’t heard of that. I will look into it, but I imagine it will be awfully expensive.

Bunch of smiling young people all gushed this morning on the TV over a report that inflation is good for people, since they will eat less and walk more because they can’t afford gas. My brother threw in that we will also be happy to eat bugs.

“Experts” are at it again. Doctors being enlisted to serve Biden’s agenda, especially those who either directly or via their parents escaped a dictatorship (Dastmalchi is an Iranian name), need to ask themselves just why they want Americans under a dictatorship, too….

No electricity because of no oil will cause even more to die in heatwaves. But yet these climate cult adherents wish death to the coal and oil industries.

JUST IN: Judge Formally Rejects DOJ Argument to Keep Trump Raid Affidavit Sealed

Judge Bruce Reinhart on Monday admitted the FBI’s raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home was “unprecedented” and formally rejected the Justice Department’s argument to keep the affidavit leading to the search under seal, citing the “intense public and historical interest.”
Reinhart, in a filing Monday morning, said he rejects “the Government’s argument that the present record justifies keeping the entire Affidavit under seal.”

Well, this is interesting, and distressing. I was watching Outnumbered and they discussed a new De Santis ad using “Danger Zone” music. I wanted to find the whole video and post it here. All I could find were negative ads and articles saying he is a failed governor, Florida is being overwhelmed by Covid, and people are really unhappy with him. All not true

I have had my own copy of Blazing Saddles for many years. I saw what they were doing to it when they showed it on TV. Besides, it is one of my very favorite Non-John Wayne movies.

Those crazy vegans……..they’re quit the rocket surgeons. A bunch of them got their knickers in such a twist in Nashville the other day that they encased their feet in concrete and apparently had their friends drop them in the middle of the driveway of a Starbucks because they upcharge for that yummy almond milk in their venti frothy latte whatever. That would have been hysterical to drive by those dummies!!
