    Morning’ All. Hot, sunny, humid. Normal Florida summer. Loki didn’t eat yesterday at all, except for the soft treats a friend gave her and they kept falling out of her mouth. I have decided she must have something stuck in her gum, but I can’t see it. I hope I can get her in to see the vet. They usually tell us to go to the emergency vet, but I don’t like to do that because he won’t let us in with her and he runs all kinds of tests that she won’t need. My friend paid about $500 and had to go to a her connection at the SPCA vets. They figured it out. Anyway, I am going to try to get her in.. A few prayers never hurt. 🙂

        Good news. They will squeeze me in at 11:40. And, I get to see the vet I really like. I still have a problem with one of the male vets because I took Foxy in when she was stung by a big bee and her foot swelled up. He kept talking about her arthritis, which I swear never seemed to bother her. He said her joint was swollen because of the arthritis. I finally realized he wasn’t listening to me at all. I have never had that problem with this vet.

    I go to the live feeds in the Jackson Hole valley numerous times a week because they are so beautiful and calming to watch.

    This is what the Hoback River on the Spotted Horse Ranch, Jackson, WY usually looks like….

    Wow, the following is a live camera now…so it’s obviously been affected by the floods, though I haven’t found out yet if the ranch has been evacuated…

    Visitors are trapped all over the flooded areas. Lord, have mercy!

    Just got back from seeing the vet. Our vet had some kind of computer problem and had to close today, so we went to an Urgent Care Vet. Cheaper than a pet emergency doctor and easier to get into. She thinks it is one of her 4 canine teeth, which is all she has. She says it looked red and irritated. So she gave her an antibiotic. Unfortunately it is the one I am highly allergic to and it is a liquid. So, I have to go out tomorrow and get some rubber gloves.
