I just found this video and thought–in light of Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee year for her 70 years on the throne–y’all would enjoy this. I’m sure she heard President Roosevelt’s prayer for the D-Day invasion along with her family and was touched by it.

That was so good. I didn’t realize, or never thought about, the Queen having so many jewels. LOL

Hi, aus! That particular YT channel has many vids of jewels from around the world. Most were absolutely beautiful designs, others looked like they were bought at the Five ‘n Dime. I was sitting viewing a few and saying, “Oh, my gosh, that’s ugly” and yet they cost multiple thousands into the millions. LOL!

Good morning, Ms. Wee! It’s going to be one of those questionable days here in the Idaho Panhandle. Will it rain? Will there be a cold wind or a humid warm one? I’m not sure who didn’t get the memo that it’s June 6th after all. But then there are still a whole bunch of days left in summer…so I shouldn’t be startin’ to complain too early.

Mornin’ Lucille, Wee, and All. Clear sky, sunny, hot, and humid here in Florida. Another week beginning. Loki is definitely having some emotional problems. Last night, I took her out about 9:00 and then again at 11:30 and she seemed fine. At 2:30 I got up to go to the bathroom and she was acting funny so I took her down the stairs and sure enough, there was a small pile in the hallway. I cleaned it up and we went back to bed. When we got up at 7:30 there was another small pile in the hallway. I can’t find my packet of puppy pads so I am going to have to get some today. I am also getting some Quiet Moments, a calming supplement. I used it on Foxy when she had a problem and it helped a lot. Poor thing. I know she is picking up on my stress.

Well, hope you have a less stressful day.

. . . Everyone in D.C. is under pressure now to “do something” in D.C. after the horrifying school shooting. Parents across the country are rightly scared for their children’s basic safety in the schools.

But we know from crime analysis that the first assault weapon ban didn’t cause a decrease in murders or mass shootings. But Biden said this on Thursday:

…in the 10 years [the assault weapons ban] was law, mass shootings went down. But after Republicans let the law expire in 2004 and those weapons were allowed to be sold again, mass shootings tripled. Those are the facts.

The fact is that there is nothing to support linking the end of the ban and an increase in mass shootings. As I wrote in this article in March 2021:

The ban expired in 2004 after the FBI told Congress the law was not needed for gun crime. Crime overall decreased in the 90s and 00s, and rifle crime is rare in the country.

Dianne Feinstein who is the biggest proponent of an assault weapon ban, estimated in 2013 about 50 people are killed each year in America by guns with the characteristics that make them banned.

New York Times: ‘Inflation has the potential to drive welcome change for the planet’
JUN 5, 2022 By ROBERT SPENCER

Just as Biden has said that skyrocketing gas prices are part of an “incredible transition.” He and his henchmen see an opportunity to force us into acquiescing to the Left’s dystopian vision of an authoritarian socialist green state.

Dreams of improved supply chains ‘shattered’ for the near term: Citi
    Brian Sozzi·Anchor, Editor-at-Large – Mon, June 6, 2022, 3:50 AM

Shortages of semiconductors, car parts, and other key items that flow through supply chains are likely to remain for the foreseeable future, Citi warned in a new note.

“Bottom line, we find that supply chain pressures have proved to be more persistent, and apparently deep rooted, than we had expected even a few months ago,” strategists led by Global Chief Economist of Citi Research Nathan Sheets wrote in a comprehensive note. “And the Russia-Ukraine conflict seems to be further amplifying the stresses. Given these realities, any hopes of near-term improvement in supply chain conditions have been shattered. The challenges in the months ahead look to be as acute as at any time over the past two years.”

WITH CLUELESS BIDEN, DID WE REALLY EXPECT THE ISSUE WOULD BE SOLVED?
