I have had two experiences with black flies. They are awful – they bite and draw blood! And they swarm in huge numbers.

OT – this warning of death threats to the Justices, if Roe is overturned, certainly is not coming from the the pro-life side of the equation. The threats are totally from the far left.

Good morning, everyone. Rainy start to the day here but it is finally supposed to be truly hot this weekend, which means my job-air conditioning sales and service-will be kicking into high gear. That happens every year but this year will prove to be very interesting due to an inability to hire seasonal help and the fact that so much of our materiel come from-wait for it-China.

Mornin’ Everyone. Miserable here. It was 80* at 8:30 and the humidity is really high. We took our walk and I am sweaty all over, especially my hair. Loki doesn’t care. I really need to get something accomplished today. My dental appt. fell through because I went to the wrong address and they were in the another town. Ha. It was very strange. Today I am going to try to find a consignment shop. I called around and most of them have gone out of business. But, I will try again today. Hope your day is nice.

No, I had not even thought of it. But, I will add it to my list. Thanks. I also need my medical records. I have a blood draw Monday and a dr appt the next week and that would be a perfect time to ask for them. I sure dread finding a new dr, dentist, and chiropractor.

Oh, dear. I may have a problem. I was packing up things in my bedroom and Loki came downstairs and peed on the carpet right at the entrance to the hall. I think she is upset because she is afraid of what I am doing, It had only been a couple of hours since we took our walk so she shouldn’t have needed to go. And, she did a big spot.

Emotion, no doubt…dogs have amazing holding power, but it does diminish with age. Maybe have to add another walk to the day. Probably would be good for you both.

I think it is emotional. I don’t think this was an accident. We take two long walks a day, but I take her out in the yard every few hours. When I have to leave and put her in her crate, she always pees in it. So, I think this is her worrying.
