Ha, ha. I missed the Babylon Bee heading and started reading the article. I was totally buying into it for a little bit. That is how stupid I think she really is. 🙄

Mornin’ All. 61* and sunny. Just another day in Florida. Gonna be busy today. My friend is coming over to try on some clothes I am getting rid of. They are too small and she might be able to wear some of them. Then we will have pizza and play cards. I have a lot to do before she gets here. So, I will check back later.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Dreary and humid in the beautiful coastal south. Gonna go see a patient at the local hospital, then return to make persimmon bars (from fruit puréed last fall from our trees).
Also down to the last of the blueberries, which is good since the bushes will be producing more by the end of May.

Really looks like it is back where it was a month ago.

It has been as high as (if I remember correctly) 153 in the past year, but not in 2022. Certainly not down 70%, and generally following market trends (if my 401K is any indication; gives me pain every day this year).

Look at nih.go and type in ivermectin and cancer. Be sitting down, because you may fall over in shock.

It’s almost like it’s a wonder drug………..or something. 😉

But it was used for horses! People can’t take it! (Be sure to read the general article which explains how it is useful in multi-drug resistant situations. It also explains that it is VERY hard to take enough to make you overdosed, like 100 mg per kg of body weight, especially in higher level animals).

Like aspirin! Vets use it for ear mites in cats, fungus on skin, all sorts of things. Did you see it has been used for 50 years against the parasite that causes river blindness?

A little more information on the kids from Chicago Thinker and their interactions at Axelrod’s lovefest last week. A little bit of self-congratulatory back-slapping, but deserve a little.

This is about 90 minutes from our home in the Hill Country. I just hope our Gov keeps the buses rolling. This is getting scary.

Had a small, boneless pork roast with very little fat. It was a “mistake” delivery from the Shipt grocery account, so it was free to me (I ordered a corned beef brisket and they sent me this). I thawed it thinking it was pork chops, so I was surprised at dinner time! I cut it into 1 to 1-1/2 slabs and browned them in an iron skillet, threw in some onions chunks and apple slices, covered and baked. All I added was salt and pepper to the meat. The meat was tender in 1-1/2 hours, so I took it out of the pan, then put the skillet on the stovetop to cook off excess moisture, drizzled on some honey, and browned the onion/apple mixture. Really easy and delicious one-pan meal.

I think this would also be good with dried fruit (like dates or apricots) and onions. Some herbs (thyme?) would add to it.
