Good morning, Everyone. temps in the twenties here today. Had to break down and take out the winter coat again. Today begins my first full week with out Twitter. I got suspended on Saturday, apparently for knowing the difference between a man and a woman. Unlike the supposedly highly educated and extremely qualified nominee to the Supreme Court. Must be a secret rule I violated against college dropouts embarrassing Harvard Law School graduates.
    Have a great day all!

Mornin’ Deacon! I’ve been without it over a year – I got bounced the same day PDJT did. You can still read if you wish….but now that Babylon Bee is gone I seldom look.

The only way I go back is if Elon Musk buys it. Other than that I’m done with them. I will not delete the Tweet since it does not violate their rules. It was a purely partisan suspension.

Good morning, Deacon! Try GAB.com for clean, unrestricted [with reason] content. It’s the Christian alternative.
      Happy Monday all!!

Good morning, deaconmike! I have been without Facebook now for months (don’t remember how long). You will become accustomed to it, and there are other platforms out there.

Good morning, Stella. I never post political stuff on Facebook because I use it primarily to keep up with family. We literally have family around the world. Also, our church has a Facebook page so I have to check into that on occasion. And of course, there are all those pictures of our grandchildren.

Mornin’ All. Dropped all the way down to 59* last night. The sky is clear and the sun is bright, so I expect it to get really warm today. Got my vacuum beater brush fixed yesterday. A YouTube video helped a lot. It took a while to find the right one, but I finally did. I just had to take it apart and put a new spring from a pen in it. Taking it apart without completely destroying it was the hard part for me. That is why I needed the instructive video. LOL. Hope the weather is nice today where you are.

Hi mom! Nice and sunny here, but we are having a cold snap this week.

We had another snowstorm yesterday. Temps stayed above freezing (barely), so not much additional accumulation. The yard still has over 3′ of snow sitting on it, though the melt-back seems to be making some headway. We can see a few asphalt shingles at the edges of the roof. But April’s acomin’ and the process should speed up soon (I hope!).

Hope y’all have a great week. I’m loving the flower photos czarina.

I occasionally watch a YouTube channel by a couple who moved to Alaska a couple of years ago (Simple Living Alaska). They are entirely off grid and grow/hunt/fish most of their own food. They keep chickens and bees too. They live near Willow, but also have a rustic cabin on a remote lake. They get there either by snow machine or boat. Fun to watch!

It is a great lifestyle for young and strong outsdoorspeople with boundless energy. I wish I had come to Alaska much earlier in life than I did. Now if they were dog mushers, their lives would be complete!

Was listening to a podcast this afternoon, a conversation between a guy in Greece talking international politics with a guy in London, speaking of the Greeks fighting in the war in Ukraine with Russia and peace talks being held in Turkey, and advising us to listen to the opinions from a podcast of a Canadian speaking with an attorney somewhere in the the U.S., a podcast already introduced to me and listened/heard last night by some woman in Michigan.

And that was just the first few minutes of a 2 hour 45 minute podcast.

Around the world in 80 seconds. Ain’t life grand?
