Yes, and women were not encouraged to enter the painting arts until recently. Or maybe these were painted by women, while the men were away chasing things.

Mornin’ All. Pleasant day here, sunny and coolish. I am going to take my friend to a nice tea room for lunch for her birthday. It is a great place for a birthday party. Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Have a fun luncheon! When my mother lived in Bradenton, there was a nice tea room where I would take her and my aunt for lunch. Good memories!

There is a tea room in Covington with proper tea service, and hats to put on while you are there to help with pretending.

Mornin’ Wee, Stella, and all ya’all! Yesterday was beautiful with a pleasant temp, today is rainy and icky in middle Virginia. Looked at weather back home in coastal MS, where it is the perfect time for outdoor work. Will be back there in a week.
Right now, I’m helping my sister sort through all the post-husband financial and social things. One of her neighbors asked if she was moving soon, bringing up the whole concept of a future in a big house by herself.

Mornin’ czarina. We have the same weather that you do in Virginia. Tomorrow will be cold again, and snow on Friday. Sounds like your sister’s neighbor is a bit of busy body. The kind that doesn’t know when to shut up.
