    Best wishes to everyone as we turn into the New Year.

    The celebration of 12 days of Christmas is a new joy.

    WeeWeed, where would we be without your special brand of humor?
    Wonder how many bottles are on that tree? I counted 203 visible on one side, and I may have missed a few.
    That would give new meaning to the phrase “one a day”, and we’re not talking about vitamins!

    May we all stay warm at heart, safe from harm and well.

    Here are some happy Christmas season paintings for today:
    The 1st 2 are by Cecily Mary Barker, from her flower fairy series:

    The next 2 are by Anton Pieck. I really like the 1st one that shows I think his version of Santa’s elves celebrating after making the gifts, but Santa is faintly shown in the left background in the house exhausted, and trying to get some rest! 😉

    The last one by Pieck shows how exotic and special oranges were. Growing up the only time we had an orange was in our Christmas stocking.

    This is fun. John Stossel from 2016 – he sat next to Hillary at lunch and tells about it. She turned her back on him, then moved. Bill is much more charming.
