Mornin’ All. We got up and went for a walk, Loki ate her breakfast, and then we ran out to find some gravy for our turkey dinner tomorrow. Then I stopped at McDonalds and got an egg and cheese biscuit. I am all ready for Christmas now. My friend will be coming over tomorrow. It is cool here and very sunny. Ii’m looking forward to the stories of the families here on Christmas Day.

If anyone out there thinks the gubmint will let go of this corona thing, you’re wrong. The “vaccines” apparently have less and less juice, regardless of the potency of the virus. Good grief.

When they first came out, I didn’t hear of a problem one. You know, back when they had to be refrigerated, etc. Seems just to be the NEW batches that have peeps dropping dead (and I guarandamtee our WalMartinez ain’t refrigerating nuthin’!)

It happened again, all my “likes” disappeared. After I post this, they will be back. Weird.

  8. Afternoon All!
I hope everyone is having a Christmas Eve full of love. Love for one another, and even if alone, love for God, with the realization of the great love God the Father had to send His Son to earth, and the great love of Jesus the Christ to come to save us and offer us eternity in Heaven.

As night falls here on the cold northeast coast we continue with our illustrated story.
Mary & Joseph finally make it to the gates of the city. This painting is by Michael Torevell

Once inside, Bethlehem is crowded with many people who came for the census. Mary, Joseph and the little donkey are so tired but they press on as Mary’s time is near. This painting is by William Hole

Joseph asks for a place to stay as Mary is about to give birth, but there is no room. This is No Room at the Inn by Margaret Tarrant

Finally Joseph is offered a manger/barn for Mary to give birth here on Earth to the Son of God. Joseph enters the animal shelter with a light to check it out before Mary enters. This is by unknown. I can not read the name or date on the lower left.

Up & down, Up & down – the joys & sorrows of life on earth. What must have Mary been thinking? As it is written: She kept all these things in her heart, and trusted in God’s word.

Stella, what a beautiful story of the Grandmother. It touched me deeply.

To everyone one here, and especially those who cannot post for any reason, may everyone have a wonder-filled Christmas Eve! 🙂
