Mornin’ All. 55* and sunny here. Very nice. I have a hair appt at noon, Then, on the way home, I will stop at Urgent Care and let them look at the scratch on my leg. Yesterday it was a little pink around the edges. I soaked it is Epsom salts last night, but this morning the pink has spread to a 1 1/2 area near it, So, it is off to the doctors. I am certain they will prescribe antibiotics, but I can’t imagine which one. Anyway, I am dreading that. I have such a problem with antibiotics. Well, will report in afterwards. Hope you all have a nice day.

Eat yogurt with live cultures, or even better, buy a bottle of kefir or kombucha. I started using fermented foods one fall when I was very sick with a bacterial sinus infection, and on strong antibiotics for a long time. I’ve never had a problem with them since then, and until that time they made me so sick I could barely function.

I got some probiotic capsules. I used to like yogurt, but the sweet ones that weren’t as good for you. I just can’t tolerate tart. Anyway, I went to Publix about 1:00 to pick up my prescription and was told it would be ready in an hour. I decided to come back later. So a couple of hours later I went back and there were 10 people in line ahead of me. I figured at least 10 to 15 min per person. So, I left. I went back at 8:00 and there was only one person in front of me. I am so glad that I didn’t stay at 4:00 because they didn’t have it ready then and I even had to wait a little for it at 8:00. I would have been upset if I had stayed earlier only to find out it wasn’t ready. But, back home now.

When I was in college I was affiliated with TKE fraternity as a little sister. One of our duties was to make the pledges recite various things, including the Greek alphabet forwards and backwards. It has helped me many times in crossword puzzles, keeping track of hurricanes in the last two decades, and now in following the variants. I note no media attention to many letters, not just the recent nu and xi.

I had a friend who had an Omega watch, self-winding I recall. Yours may have run slow since it was 9 letters before the Omega….
