    Mornin’ All. Sunny but cool here, about 47*. The ocean is still churning, but not as bad as it has been. Don’t know what we will do today. Hope yours is nice.

    The geese just flew in. I counted 54, but could not get them all in the picture. Sure is a beautiful day.

    Used to live in Louisville, CO, on a lake; a game preserve actually. They had signs everywhere: “Do not feed the Canada Geese.” Everyone ignored the signs and fed the geese, to the geese’s great delight. We bought junk corn on the cob and stripped off the kernels by the bushel and had much fun calling the geese over and feeding them. Except when you ran out; the geese didn’t cotton to that well.

      Czar took his grandson to a park many years ago, and they fed the geese. When they ran out of bread the geese chased the little boy all over the place!

        I had the huge white swans after my tail in Scotland! I’d never seen any before, so I tried to feed them a loaf of bread. There were about a hundred of them and the closer they got, the bigger they were. I just threw the loaf at them and ran like heck! I never noticed DH didn’t go down to the water with me. He was standing way back and having a laugh!

        We have lots of Canada Geese around here. I grew up around a huge lake (Lake Lanier) and everybody complained about the slippery sludge they left on the boat docks.

    Can’t wait until Caturday. This is priceless. Reminds me of a college prof I had who tried to leash train her cat. She used to says she was going to take him for “a drag around the block”.

      I have always felt that people who riot, destroy other peoples stuff, damage public property and start fires downtown are stupid. This guy is the poster child.
