Good morning everyone. I went out for a look at the sky and it sure is chilly outside. But oh, the fall air. It does feel so good to step outside and take a deep breath.
Here’s a really good thread on why the hypocrite Dems are so unhinged over the Let’s Go Brando chants. My husband said one of his coworkers saw a Biden sticker on a gas pump the other day. It had the little speech bubble over his head and he was saying “I did that” as he pointed at the gas price.
Vive la resistance! And how about Virginia? Much to be thankful for, to celebrate today.

Yes, how about Virginia. Seems the Rat machine could not produce the fraudulent votes to overwhelm the Republican majority votes in so many races! Looks like the Jersey fraud is kicking in, holding back votes in Rat strongholds so they can release them as needed to win.

From Andrea Widburg. We all know this, and it drives me crazy that people are too lazy to live it out come Election Day.
We also learned what might be the most important thing of all: Conservatives can win if people outside of the cities will vote. If enough rural and suburban voters make the effort, Republicans can achieve victories beyond the margin of Democrats’ cheating. It’s just a shame that it takes the Democrats putting America on the verge of collapse for so many good, intelligent, and conservative Americans to get to the polls.

Sunny and humid. In other words, pretty much normal. Not chilly.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Sunny, coldish, low humidity once the dew on the grass evaporates. It’s my birthday! Please send Myers Dark Rum….and trash cans full of $100 bills. Thank you, thank you very much.

Here is a variety of Myer’s desserts
Did not find recipe for Myer’s cake, but substitution is OK:
“How to make the famous Bacardi rum cake: Now make it with regular or pudding cake mix
From the St Cloud Times (Minnesota) November 3, 1976″
Ingredients
• 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
• One 18-1/2 ounce package yellow cake mix*
• One 3-3/4 ounce package vanilla pudding mix
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup cold water
• 1/2 cup Wesson oil
• 1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum (80 proof)
• 1/4 pound butter
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum (80 proof)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Grease and flour 10” tube or 12-cup Bundt pan.
2. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan. Mix all cake ingredients together (cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, oil and 1/2 cup Bacardi). Pour batter over nuts.
3. Bake 1 hour.
4. Cool. Invert on serving plate.
5. Prick top. Spoon and brush glaze evenly over top and sides. Allow cake to absorb glaze. Repeat until glaze is used up.
6. FOR GLAZE: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in rum.
Notes
* If using yellow cake mix with pudding already in the mix: Omit instant pudding, use 3 eggs instead of 4, 1/3 cup oil instead of 1/2.
Optional: Decorate with border of sugar frosting or whipped cream.
Here is an image of what it looks like:
Enjoy yourself & have a wonderful day! 🙂

Czarina,
Is it about time for that birthday dinner? I see WeeWeed brought the requested rum, Stella brought the entertainment, and G_d and Country brought cake for everyone. And so many birthday wishes! Mine included, with a bit of a midnight hurrah.
Dessert for one very special lady to round out the day. Should be some of the Murphy’s left…
Best wishes,

Manchester NH is the largest city in the state by far (but not the capital) & has about 60,000 people eligible to vote. Only about 20,000 voted yesterday & the democrat incumbent that has RUINED the city won by 1,223 votes! HOW FREAKIN LAZY ARE PEOPLE!?! Where i live we had IIRC over 85% voter participation.
Thank goodness the surgical center I have to go to is on the outskirts of the city.

Does anyone else see that the methane reduction strategy coming out of the Climate conference is targeting meat production, specifically beef and pork? The US is the largest producer of these meats and this agreement is once again targeting and attempting to hamstring our economy. The Rats are leaping in with both feet to make us vegetarians, and China and Russia are refusing to participate.

They want us to eat that “mechanically separated meat” which they are already putting in ground meats. You have to watch for it.

Mornin’ all. I took Loki for a walk, then came back and took her with me to buy some wine to take to the beach, and then a few other things at the Dollar Tree, gassed up the car, and picked up breakfast at McDonald’s. Then we came home and I fed Loki and ate my breakfast.
My friend took me to the place where she gets her car detailed for $20. I am so glad she did. They washed the outside, shined up the wheels, and detailed the interior. I was shocked when I got in it. It looked like new and my car has a tan leather interior and is 16 yrs old. I have cleaned it myself and had it cleaned professionally before, but it NEVER looked this good. My friend says the man has been in business for many years. He hires these young men. They were all acted very professional and polite. That is where I will be taking my car from now on.
Hope your weather is as good as ours.

Hi Stella, twice I have posted a comment to Menagerie, the 2nd time I checked & it was in the right place. Why does it show up under my birthday comment to Czarina? Am I just overtired & doing something wrong? I was sure the 2nd time it was in the right place.

I looked at your comment in edit mode, and it doesn’t show it in reply to Menagerie.

Just when you think you’ve hit your crazy quotient. People apparently went to Dallas thinking JFK JR (and SR too) were coming back. Along with Michael Jackson. I really can’t think of anything to say.
