I ran up on a very simple recipe for potato soup. In the video the cook used Pioneer brand gravy mix. I don’t know if it’s any good or not, but it SOUNDS good….

    3 INGREDIENT POTATO SOUP
    Yield: 6
    Author: By Shirley Pelkey
PREP TIME: 2 MINCOOK TIME: 25 MINTOTAL TIME: 27 MIN
    INGREDIENTS
    1 package of Ore-Ida Potatoes O Brien
1 package of Country Gravy Mix
    32 oz. Chicken Broth
    INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all ingredients together in a large soup pot.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Once it is boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer until it begins to thicken.
It will continue to thicken as it cools.

Morning Wee. Does sound good. Also, just Bear Creak potato soup is good too. And I’m kinda a potato soup snob.

We were at my husbands (very elderly, very, very good cook) aunt’s house some years ago and she was serving the soup from her crock pot. People wanted the recipe and she laughed. That’s when I got introduced to Bear Creek soups. Quite a few are good for an easy supper with some good bread, but potato is still my favorite.

Mornin All. Weather – same. News – more of same. My big job for the day is to get a drawer unstuck. Something fell in behind it and I can’t push it back in to where it needs to be so I can pull the drawer out. I”m thinking I may have to take the other two drawers out and turn the cabinet on it side or upside down to get out the little box that is stuck. I have tried everything else. Oh well, that is my problem. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Got my house back on he market today: send any prospective buyers in the New Orleans area my way. Called to see what I can get for the tractors I will never use: also send any potential tractor buyer my way. Also have two tillers. And a chipper that fits on the back of the tractor. And an extra DR field and brush mower and a Brush Beast mower. All this stuff is weighing heavily on me.

I saw that Pres. Trump was interviewed buy Greg Gutfeld last night. I watched a short portion of it and it looked really interesting. Greg is a totally different interviewer. I recorded it to watch it today. He is going to show segments of the interview each night. He smiled a lot and went along with the jokes. It was very good. Greg’s first question was “How about my ratings?” LOL

I have been listening to these stories of survivors of 9/11. This guy was a Port Authority Police officer. He was trapped for hours under the debris of the fallen towers. If you can’t listen to the whole thing, listen to what he is saying starting at about 35:00 or 40:00. He talks about giving up and praying to God and what happened to him and what he realized.

Church Wins $500,000 Settlement in Victory Against Gavin Newsom’s Lockdowns
California Family Council | Sep 6, 2021 | Sacramento, CA

Governor Newsom trampled on Christians, but his actions backfired. His despotism lit a fire under many individual Christians and congregations who simply refused to comply.

    Evenin’ All.
Need a few suggestions, but it is late so will come back tomorrow (WP no longer delivers replies to me – they really really love me).
Concisely, Wicked Son called tonight. Had his first mandated CCP Virus “test” today, and it really affected him badly. WS was so angry.
No matter what i said, the only thing that helped was for WS return to his Bible, which, imo, is the best advice.
Meanwhile, tomorrow, will ask for a few suggestions. Thanks in advance.

The Pour Over has been a help. Three times a week it delivers news (which, so far I have not found biased) with scripture quotes and thoughtful messages. Seems calming and makes me stop to catch my breath.
