    Amazing and anger-making…Bide-Harr hate us and want to destroy law and order and the quality of life for those here legally and all of us who have been blessed to be born here. The Administration don’t give a fig for the people they enticed to come here illegally. They are just a means to an end.

    Good morning everyone. Hope your weekend is off to a good start. It’s tax free weekend here in Tennessee, which means avoid the stores, especially Walmart, like the plague.

    Here’s a post I ran across this morning about the prisoners from January 6, detained illegally and certainly immorally. Not even Congress members can get in. Are we behind the Iron Curtain?

      I read about your tax free weekend, and the article said that you usually pay taxes on food. We don’t here in MI for plain food. We do on restaurant meals.

        It’s not a blanket tax free deal, mainly things that are considered needed for back to school. I think clothes are included, as well as things like computers, printers, and all basic supplies like papers, pens, pencils, notebooks, etc.

        I’ve never really looked it up, not being in the demographic to use it, but I sure would if I was going to buy a computer. Which reminds me, I kinda need a laptop. When I worked at Staples we would be absolutely slammed. It was one of those nightmare weekends for retail.

      Good day, Menagerie! In my in-person shopping days I would have been out among them. After-Christmas sales were always enticements and where I bought all my gifts for the next year at half-price usually. Great fun!

      Re our political prisoners, besides several elected Republicans, the only other politician who has brought up this travesty is Vlad Putin. I honestly do not know how the Democrats are getting away with this suspension of justice. Whatever happened to the right to a quick and speedy trial?

    Mornin’ All. Hot, humid, yada, yada. I can’t believe it. Loki let me sleep in until 8:30 this morning. I was having a weird dream about standing by a small pond filled with alligators. The sides were straight up and down and it was about 20 feet to the water. I was worried about Loki (who was a cat) who noticed the alligators and was curious about them, so she kept walking on the edge of the pond and I was afraid she would fall in. Weird. Anyway, I am so glad tomorrow is the beginning of August. I am tired of July. Wishing good things on all of you.
