    Mornin’ Lucille, everyone. Hot, humid, yada, yada, yada. We took our walk and I am sitting here cooling off before I start some breakfast. I have to admit it is a very pretty day…………as usual. lol. Hope it is the same where you are. :)_

      Good afternoon, aus! It’s really a lovely day here in the Idaho Panhandle. We’re at 77 degrees right now and 86 is projected as a high.

      There’s absolutely nothing on my agenda today. I should do housework and maybe the guilts will force some actual cleaning. I keep wondering how Bee and Gee have any fur left on their bodies with all the dustballs full of kitty hair laying around. Aagghhhhhh!

    Here’s a New Orleans story. Seems the company with the contract to pick up trash for the city can’t find enough workers. So they have been missing pick ups, reducing some areas to less than once a week. Now, in the 40 years I’ve been here trash collection has always been twice a week. In Miami and in Ogden, UT it was once a week, but NO has a traditional 2x a week. People are in an uproar. They cannot believe the City Council will be discussing changing to 1x per week because the contractor cannot fulfill the agreement.

    Of course, there is the matter that the contractor is not complying with the contract. And unemployment is still at record highs. And collection workers are not paid very much for very hard work done in all conditions.

      What! You mean all those “immigrants” flooding across the southern border are not falling over themselves trying to get those NOLA jobs? Shocked, I’m shocked!

        Nor, apparently all the unemployed people who are receiving govt. money because they cannot work because there are no jobs….

    Thanks, Stella for that inspiring perfect shot you posted of the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve with the Colorado Sangre De Cristo Mountains in the background. That’s definitely a frameable. Just WOW…
