Mornin’ All. Sunny, hot, yada, yada, yada. I watched Tucker Carlson last night. He tried to seriously read what liberals were saying a few times and just broke out in a total laugh they were so absurd. Busy day today. I have to finish up a few of the chores I had yesterday and then run some errands. So, bye for now.

Good morning, aus! We’re enjoying 72 degrees at present…be wonderful if it would stay at that temp for the day instead of the 98 it’s headed for. The weather has been frying us all. Well, at least we’re not into the 100s anymore.

Yesterday was National French Fry Day. Today is Bastille Day. I can make fries in the oven or on the stove, but I have no talent for cooking French food. Anybody have a French recipe for the untalented cook?
I once went to a party for Bastille Day where everyone was provided thin red velvet ribbons to tie around their necks. It was done in the years after the guillotining of the King and Queen. Bals de Victimes were held.

Woke up early this morning (7:00 AM is REAL early for me) thinking July 14th is a historically important date but couldn’t think of what it was. Thanks for the Bastille Day reminder. LOL!
But I did wake up remembering my dream…I was offered the lead role in an off-Broadway musical (a youthful dream of mine) and told the producers that I had not sung publicly in years. They said not to worry…they heard my demo tape and everything sounded fine to them. Hahahahahaha!

New Orleans is almost two feet above normal rain this year. This is really impacting my ability to sell my house there, because I have a plumber digging under the house to repair the sewer lines, and he has to stop until the rain stops, then pump out the flooded water before he can start again. Been at it for 6 weeks.
