This is a fun show and I love what they did with the house. I’ve only seen it on YouTube. Apparently all the shows are cut down from full episodes to around 10 minutes….

I love Erin and Ben. They are cheerful don’t yell at other people, and are working to make their neighbors happy.

Mornin’ Miss Wee. You do know that if 45 runs again, this will be a true fact. More of their headlines come true than even they can imagine. 😉

Mornin’ All. Hot and humid, actually pretty miserable. Weather guessers predict rain. I sure hope so. Our pond could use a couple of feet of water right now. No other news from here.

Yeah, where will the gators go if your pond goes dry, Mom? Some interesting facts I didn’t know, including alligators are members of the crocodile family.

I remember a story of one crawling over a block wall around a patio and coming through a screen door. The wall was 6′ or 8′ tall. I just couldn’t believe it. They pretty much do what they want.

I worry one will take up residence in our lake and start eating the pets. Of course, if it ate the beaver and nutria that would be ok…

Our favorite Sunday columnist takes on a plethora of stupid this morning. If y’all need me, I’ll be watching those guys and gals make 800 left turns in Indianapolis a bit later today. Grab some coffee and enjoy the mornin’.

Morning T. I guess we will get a double dose, Indy and Charlotte. My husband isn’t big on Indy car racing but he likes to watch all the Memorial Day races. I can’t tell you how excited about this I am. 🙄

I occasionally put the TV on for the Indy just to see a few laps, but it never holds my attention. Of course, people are watching for the crashes, and the grand finale..

The most idiotic, self-centered, Asian-African simpleton on the planet continues to amaze with her level of stupid. Wishes everyone an enjoyable long weekend. No clue about the reason for the season. And she bombed her speech at Annapolis as well. Her and her boss might want to re-think their comedy routines at the Service Acadamies.

It’s an insult to self-centered folk to call Harris one. She’s so far beyond that. We look at her now and think she’ll never be President. And we thought the same about Biden. Stupidity in the powerful is to be expected along with willful ignorance, stupidity and criminality in their followers.

Does anyone know if the NRSC is actually connected to Donald Trump. At the bottom it says not connected to any candidate, or something like that.

Good day, aus! No cent will ever go to Donald Trump. It’s supposed to be for Republican Senate campaigns. I can’t remember which group, but he did ask one Republican entity to cease using his name in their fundraising since he is supporting individual candidates, not giving blanket endorsements.

I had a (rather aged) head of red cabbage, so I made this braised red cabbage and dried cherry dish. Instead of Port or Madeira, I used Pinot Grigio with a dash of honey for a similar acid/sweet balance. You could use apple cider. It’s very tasty!
I really like Helen. She’s been is the USA (Boston) since she was 13, but she has a lot of lovely Eastern European dishes in her repertoire.

I love my white wine, but I’m pretty frugal when buying a bottle. There are plenty of good and reasonably priced white wines, but my daughter sent me some nicer wines for my birthday.
I just tried one of them (I know – it’s early). It is a Meiomi Chardonnay, vintage 2019. Tasty, with a slight fizz and a buttery finish. Best wine I’ve had in a while! The wine is a blend of Sonoma, Santa Barbara and Monterey Chardonnay grapes.

Sounds great! You have put me in the mood. We are having steak tonight so I may try a glass of wine with it. I have not had a drink or wine since before my surgery, so it seems a good time.
Beautiful day here, but pleasantly cool. A good evening to sit on the swing with a glass.

Sounds good! I had leftover bbq ribs with roasted potatoes and the braised cabbage. The wine didn’t really go with the food, so I saved it to drink after eating.
