We have been dry for a whole week! My yard is almost not muddy in the lowest places, and I was able to mow yesterday! The storm which hit north Louisiana is going to stay north of us. After such a wet winter and spring I am finally able to get things done outside. Now, let’s see what hurricane season brings: it starts next Tuesday.

Good day to you, WeeWeed! I have it on good authority that this photo is NOT photoshopped. The invasion has begun. 40 days and 40 nights of heavy rainfall is predicted and we know how it turned out the last time those 40 days/nights happened.
Recommendation? Get yourself on that boat where the animal pairs are being placed, and get out of town. NOW!

Mornin’ all. Sun, heat, humidity, etc. It still is going to get worse, so I should quit whining. The little doggie Loki made friends with day before yesterday, attacked her yesterday. I think what happened was that the doggie came running to me all happy, tail wagging, looking to be petted and I had the big holder for the leash in my hand. I must have made some move that made her think I was going to hit her because she cowered and turned and ran back to her mom. Unfortunately, Loki went over to greet her and the dog attacked her. They are about the same size and Loki seems all right, but she didn’t understand what had happened. Oh, well, I know that the doggie had been badly mistreated.

Good afternoon, aus! Sorry about the doggies. Loki was trusting but the other dog has lost her trust in humans and by extension in other dogs. Poor little thing. So sad.

I just watched Hannity. He had a show with a bunch of Republican governors on it. They talked about how they handled the COVID situation and what they are doing now. It was very interesting. Usually I skip him because I find him annoying, but he did pretty well not interrupting them too much.
