Expect you got the rain we will get here about 2 this afternoon. Poor Czarevich is driving back from Denver, first in snow changing to rain yesterday, today more rain and possibly strong wind, hail and tornadoes.

Mornin’ All. Woke up at the beach again. Yay! Beautiful day. We had a humdinger of a storm last night. I guess it lasted an hour or two. I thought the worst of it was the whistling of the wind around the door. It was louder than I have ever heard, and, it was very spooky. LOL Hope all is well. I heard about the tornado going through TN.

Mama said the wind around the door was awful during Hurricane Andrew in Miami in 1992. You must have had the really strong winds predicted for us yesterday morning (they did not happen here, thank heavens).

G’Afternoon Stella, All. Hope today is another Great Day for you all.
If you’ve a little time and would like a bit of reassurance about our country’s direction and future…I listened to one of our country’s finest Deplorables last night on the Viva and Barnes Sidebar, with Joe Kent (WA-03).
Joe Kent has the D.C. Swamp and America First thing down to a t, having first-hand experience in both.
Kent’s story is amazing – Army SpecOps WO, serving under Pres Trump during Kill ISIS campaign. But Kent has also served with the IC/Military D.C. Arse-Kisser Industrial Complex, and knows exactly why they are that way and how to fix it.
Kent makes Texas Eye-Patch Guy look lazy and dull-witted, if that is even possible. (They actually have differing, complimentary views)
The first 40 mins are about Kent’s personal life. Around the 40 minute mark they get into Kent’s policy views. Kent had actually been offered a job in the NSC for Trump 2.0.
We all know how that turned out, so Kent “googled” how to run for office (literally!) and here we are.
This may be Viva-Barnes finest interview. imo

I had no idea! Like faxing, it was out there a long time before the common folk got easy access. The original was invented in the 1870’s by AG Bell.
Over the past 75 years, fax transmission time has reduced from an average of six minutes to an average of one minute. The classic “fax machine” of the 1980s (which cost $20,000 in 1982!) has also become obsolete, and faxes are now routinely sent from computers, smartphones or tablets.

I worked for a gentleman in the 70’s who had a “car phone” and it had a rotary dial by that time.. I was impressed. Never did find out what his phone bills might have been.

I didn’t want to do a post about Bill and Melinda Gates, but this is pretty interesting. Seems he has had a part-time girlfriend on the side that his wife knew about all through his marriage. Sounds like the movie, “Same Time Next Year”.
Also, it tells in detail about what they own, including land and how many acres in each state.

Btw, the movie “Same Time Next Year” is a true story. It’s about William Holden and Shelley Winters years-long affair. She may have revealed that in her bio, but I can’t remember right now.
