Good morning, WeeWeed! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to visit every burger joint on this list and send back reports…

I’d be game to start with this one…#17 R.L.E. Hello Burger, Tommy’s Burger Stop (Anchorage, Alaska)…
Happy cheeseburgering!

I’m going for this one Lucille, although burgers are only a meh food for me. I eat them but not a great fan. I have a granddaughter who is passionate in her love of burgers.

Perhaps litenmaus can drive over sometime soon and give us the lowdown.

#92 (Red Coat Tavern) is about 3-1/2 miles from my house.

#57 looks good to me (bison burger). Ground bison is good grilled plain and a bit rare. You don’t need toppings!
ADD: Would also like to try the lamb burger #43 in Orlando.
Did you notice how many are from Chicago? I swear that city has the best and widest variety of great food – expensive or cheap.

That looks SOOOOO yummy! How have I never heard of Tommy’s Burger Stop in Anchorage? Will have to look it up on my next trip to “the city”. Thanks, Lucille! And do come on up and visit. I’ll meet ya there!

Would love to visit Anchorage and have a repast at Tommy’s. Just have an ambulance with some good looking paramedics at the ready in case of travel fatigue and food overindulgence.

Yeah, that burger basket looks like about 2,000 calories. On my 1,000 calorie/day diet, that would feed me for 2 days. Maybe we could just share one!

Re New Orleans burgers: Port of Call burger is THE BEST!!!!! Company burger is good. Cowbell closed I think, but it was good, and the ambience was nice.

One of the New Orleans burgers was my second choice. Number 89, if I remember.

Mornin’ All. How can it be 70* and warm one morning and 70* and cool the next? It is a little breezy, cloudy, and slightly cool this morning. Very, very humid. I was all sweaty by the time I got my shoes on, and that was in the air conditioning. Hope you all have a nice day, rain or shine.

Mornin’ mom. It is overcast and cloudy here this morning, but only 40 degrees!

Good morning, aus! Pretty much the same weatherwise here as yesterday…56 headed to 64 with a 13mph wind and 0 precipitation.
The highlights of my day will be to sort clothes for the wash and set up perhaps two loads, go through my library and put what I can bear to part with in my giveaway box, and…maybe…vacuum, though my cleaner which was supposed to pick up cat hair better than any other vacuum just DID NOT KNOW how much cat hair comes off two cats…and was a big waste of cash.
Have a fine day despite the humidity!

For anyone here who is an Outlander/Diana Gabaldon fan, the publication date of her new book has been announced – November 23, 2021.

Thanks for this great news, Stella. Seems forever since the last one came out. I need to go back and read the last two again before the new one get here. Otherwise I lose plot details and lesser characters during the long wait.

I know some people don’t like her books, because there is some rather graphic sex. The way I look at it is that the sex is between married men and women almost without exception, and there is a lot of really interesting historically accurate information too.

Though I’ve never seen the series, I do have to say that the commercials for OUTLANDER are most enticing. Especially the one where Jamie’s daughter finds him and he thinks at first she’s a lass who is trying to pick him up in the outdoor loo. Oh my goodness he’s so attractive.

My opinion is that the books are much better than the tv series, especially after the second season. They are now into changing the stories and adding stuff. There has been a bit of outrage from the book fans.
Diana is a very intelligent, well-educated, and skilled writer. She wrote the first book just to see if she could. Now it’s history.

I haven’t eaten much today, so I’m looking forward to dinner! Right now there are potatoes and garlic roasting in butter/oil/hot sauce topped with grated parmesan. The whole house smells like garlic. Next, I’m roasting brussels sprouts and finishing with balsamic vinegar. The star is a pan broiled bison sirloin steak.

If you are wondering – Tucker is back to his old self. We are playing in house ball fetch and he’s running at full speed all over the place.

Maybe he was just testing out a new sympathy ploy? I bet he’d like some of that bison sirloin steak as a return-to-health reward…or perhaps a burger from one of those Chicago eateries.

I had a slice of ham with fresh pineapple chunks for a late lunch. I shared some of the ham with him (and with the cat). That, and a banana, were all I ate before dinner.
