    Happy birthday, Johann!

    Johann Sebastian Bach
    Born: March 31, 1685
    Birthplace: Eisenach, Germany
    Died: July 28, 1750 (aged 65)

Song: Aria sulla quarta corda (“Air”)

This version, by far the most unusual I’ve ever heard, was released by the Café Del Mar which is in Sant Antoni de Portmany, Isle of Ibiza, Spanish Balearic Islands.

Good morning everyone. Rain came back here, and it is pouring down. Should be the only day it rains this week though.

I gave in yesterday and bought tulips in three pretty colors. They might not live, but I’m going to try. They sure are so pretty now. Tulips are happy flowers.

I planted about 20 end of season daffodil bulbs from a sale bin about 10 years ago. I ignore them, never dug them up for summer or divided them. They produce lovely flowers for March and April (see photo above). Maybe tulips will do so for you.

Mornin’ All. The morning started out at 74*. I understand we are going to have a “cold” spell next week. I’m guessing that means it will drop below 70*. I got my taxes done on Turbo Tax yesterday. l got money back, but they got almost all of it. I might be able to pay for lunch if I don’t order anything expensive. Oh, well. It’s done. We ate lunch at Outback yesterday. We have been eating there about once a every month or two for the last year. Usually, it was just us and maybe one other table. We were afraid they would go under. But, yesterday it was pretty much packed. Things are really opening up here. Hope they are for you wherever you are. 🙂

Mornin’ Mom! The Feds are really pushing that all states keep the mask mandate/vaccine protocols! The question being asked now is: If these protocols are so important, why isn’t Florida and Texas citizens dying in droves…😋 Glad to know Outback is alive and kickin…we had some restaurants here too we wondered if they would survive…

I read an article yesterday about the Amish and Mennonites and how they now have herd immunity because they quit the masks and social distancing long ago. At one point 90% of the families had someone who had COVID in it. I couldn’t find how many died.

You can’t stop a virus from being a virus by stopping humans from being human. Herd immunity is the only answer. Stop the masks, the social distancing, the lockdowns, the mandates, and the experimental vaccines (which have some devastating side effects, including spontaneous abortion) for a disease with 99% survival. This is another form of the flu. 80,000 people died from the flu in 2018 and we did not shut down the country over it. It ain’t ebola. Wash your hands and stay home if you are sick. I am so done with this fear-and-hysteria mongering!

Wednesday…day 3 of the hostage situation 🤣 But, 2 days away from another beautiful weekend! Raining now with a strong cold front moving in…and two nights of freezing temps, but looking at the long forecast, I think this is it for us! Which means I will start planting…

Here’s a video I ran across this morning that has advice for the people running Biden LOLOL!

  7. Here’s an other article I’m guessing the people behind “Amtrak Joe” will slip into the behemoth “transportation” bill – have your BP meds handy:

“Minnesota is the first state that I know of that will mandate how many miles a resident can drive…”

“Yes, Driving Is a Privilege and Not a Constitutional Value but Are Legislators Supposed to Determine Our Lives?” https://granitegrok.com/blog/2021/03/yes-driving-is-a-privilege-and-not-a-constitutional-value-but-are-legislators-supposed-to-determine-our-lives

“State Democrats want to limit the number of miles Minnesotans can drive, according to a new bill making its way through the Legislature. The “Sustainable Transportation Act” would require Minnesota to adopt a goal of reducing vehicle miles traveled by “at least 20% by 2050.””…

“Rep. John Petersburg, R-Waseca, pointed out that reducing vehicle use would also reduce revenue for the Department of Transportation, making it more difficult to fund some of the projects proposed in the bill, such as a new “electric vehicle infrastructure account.”…“The gas tax used to be the obvious way to do it. It’s not anymore, so a so-called vehicle-miles traveled tax or mileage tax, whatever you want to call it, could be a way to do it,” he said.”

“So, you are willing to pay a buck, two bucks, or more to drive a mile? Or more? After all, once a new tax is started, it can only get more and more costly. And what about your car tattling on you, given how “wired” automobiles are getting?”

Minnesota’s Democrat government is corrupt as the day is long. Check out this…

LEGISLATIVE WATCHDOG REVEALS WIDESPREAD VIOLATIONS AT DHS

For nearly three years, the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) doled out tens of millions of dollars in grants for mental health and substance abuse services without providing adequate oversight over the grant-making process, according to a state Legislative Auditor report released Monday.

Such criminality and ineptitude is fine with the lefties as long as they are profiting in some manner. Not to say there aren’t Republicans who “go along to get along.”

      • Every state has corruption. So sad when it’s in departments where people really need help. It’s just amazing how corrupt some states are, but it’s good to get all the nasty stuff out in the sunshine. I’ll have to check out that website – never heard of it before.

They had better be more careful. My oldest granddaughter was only one when my DIL and son showed her herself in pictures on their phones. So they weren’t too worried when she looked at them. However, they discovered she was watching movies, pausing one and then finding it and restarting it from where she paused it. They decided they had to be more careful.

    Evenin’ Stella and Stellars.

Just a short fyi to let you know Bannon gave you all/next door a shout-out this afternoon, for highlighting Lydia Whatsits of the Women of Watts on John S’s vid series he’s doing across America.
Unfortunately, Bannon had it backwards, as is normal for that doofus.

Bannon said you all featured John S’s report after Bannon highlighted the ladies. We know, of course, the reverse is true, and the two events occurred independently of each other.
Just to let you know, should you run into this.

Viva, Barnes, and Doomcok this evening. What fun awaits!

Numerous Convoys Attacked in Iraq and Biden Says Nothing
By Larry Johnson – Published March 31, 2021 at 7:20am

I know that our media is a pathetic lot of sycophants with no interest in reporting real news, but the attacks on U.S. logistical convoys in Iraq surely should have merited some comment. So far Crickets.
