Good morning. Wow, we have a lot of cherry trees around here. And redbud too. I’m watching the mountain. You can see the greening up close, but not so much down here. Watching will be fun. Days and days of rain are here, so the mountain will have a collar of fog soon. He weather is going to be all over the place for ten days or so, but lots of rain and storms in the mix.
Here’s hoping your weather is sunnier than mine. Aus, hope you are feeling better today.

Azaleas are so beautiful. I’d love to have a garden with every color.
Strange, but I can’t see your photos. That started the other day where Imgur is no longer compatible with my programming. Bummer…and just when one of my nieces started a channel starring her dogs, too.

Sorry. Look up Admiral Semmes azaleas to see what they look like.

Good morning, Menagerie! Not having heard of the redbud before, I looked it up. No wonder you love it, What a beautiful tree. It’s also the state tree for Oklahoma.
“There are nine species of redbuds known in the world with two native to North America. The Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) is most frequently listed as having three botanical varieties; var. canadensis (the typical form), mexicana (a smaller shrubby form with a rounded leaf) and texensis (a compact tree form with glossy leaves). Some botanists elevate these varieties to species rank.” https://www.uaex.edu/yard-garden/resource-library/plant-week/redbud-cultivars-4-25-14.aspx

Hello Lucille, the redbuds are beautiful only when they are in bloom! After the leaves come out, the seed pods from the flowers stay dead on the tree all summer making it look trashy…IMHO! 🤷♀️

We used to have Jacaranda trees which have purple flowers. When the blossoms fall on the grass it’s really beautiful but then they turn to muck. The sidewalks are to be avoided at all costs because everything sticks to your shoes. What’s the old saying, “Beauty comes at a price”? LOL!

Afternoon all ya’all. Despite the pronouncements the world would wash away, yesterday’s total rainfall was under 2” here, and today we have had sun with passing clouds all morning. Opened the windows for a 70* breeze.

Mornin’ All. I found out my friend also is sick. So we caught whatever it is at the same time. I am better this morning. My temp went up to 102.1 last night and is back down to 98.9. My DIL had sent me some herbal remedies for Christmas last year. I am taking one mixture. Maybe it is helping. My DIL says that they have gone the whole winter without any of them being sick. That is 3 adults and 3 children. I am glad to hear that. Hope you all stay healthy.

Good morning, aus! So glad your fever is down. I’m always leery of air conditioning in hotels or rented vacation condos, homes. You and “W” will remain in my prayers.

Listened to Viva Frei and Robert Barnes’ discussion today with Dr Gad Saad.
Dr Saad, being a scientist, had some of the best arguments I’ve heard yet (full disclosure I am biased).
Dr Saad, being a professor, talks and talks and talks. Dr Saad has an original take on many things, and allowed me to see the rationale behind those voting machine “discrepancies” and why they are that way.

From Robert Popper’s Op-Ed for The Hill:
Ever since House Resolution 1, the Democrats’ 886-page partisan wish list of a voting bill, passed the House on a party-line vote earlier this month, its critics have had a lot to say. They correctly point out that the bill federalizes election law on a historically unprecedented scale, systematically impairs existing federal and state laws concerning election integrity, and imposes new burdens and restrictions on political speech and activity. All of this is apparent from the text of the bill.
