The impeachment trial is likely to begin next week in the Senate. My prediction is that it will fail. This, of course, is an attempt to ruin Donald Trump politically (and any other way that they can manage.) The object is to deny Donald Trump the ability to run for office again and, possibly, to remove his Secret Service protection.
I saw these comments on the impeachment thread over at CTH:
In Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula, the only way to guarantee that the Evil of the vampire can stay defeated, is to decapitate the body, stuff the head with garlic, and drive the stake through the body very deeply.
What does that have to do with the topic here?
In the 897 Cadaver Trial, Pope Stephen VI had a predecessor, Pope Formosus’ body exhumed. His corpse was brought to the papal court where it was accused of perjury and acceding to the papacy illegally. At the trial Formosus was found guilty and his papacy retroactively declared null.
And what does that have to do with the topic here?
Apt comments on the actions being perpetrated by the Democrat House.
