    The community is still cleaning up the damage from the Wednesday storm. Numerous buildings & homes destroyed, roofs torn off, trees downed, & power lines still being worked on.

    I was blessed this morning…The Power company was in town working on downed lines and I hobbled over to talk with the work crews and asked if they’d be willing to send one of their cherry pickers over to my house to deal with my flag pole. The guys showed up with huge smiles and generous hearts and cut down the debris and tangled mess. They even lubricated the pulley while they were at it….

    Pastors in our area are now receiving calls from individuals with unlisted numbers who are threatening them for supporting President Trump. The pastors are being told they are being watched, that congregants with guns are being monitored and fear is being spread . Yeah, it’s not just happening in liberal enclaves. A pastor yesterday spoke with the FBI and he was informed that the FBI is aware of the group making the calls and that they are being tracked. I wish I had more faith in the FBI….

      PS: I generally don’t like risotto made with rice, but this is good, and easier to make because it cooks in the oven.

      It would probably be more properly called a pilaf.

    I am watching Rawhide. I had forgotten just how gorgeous Clint Eastwood was when he was young. I mean, I thought he was really pretty, but I hadn’t seen him in a long time. No, really really gorgeous.
