      Yes, I’m both praying and limiting myself to one go thru of a few news sites. I even just “skim” or skip Dobbs and JudgeJ on TV. Trying to keep informed, but adding more prayer and levity to my day. No one at the national level has any interest in the voter fraud in my state (NH) so we’re trying to do something at the state level.

        Totally agree with you! I am waffling between ‘should we vote for the GA senators when one in particular is a RINO just to keep a majority that will fail us again later, and we should just dump all of them and suffer the consequences now’ 🙄 The less news I read, the less agitation in my spirit! Easier to approach our God in prayers because we know He Who still rules over EVERYTHING!

    Mornin’ all. Overcast and somewhat cool here now, about 68*. I wonder what was going on last evening. So many planes flying over and the noise was different from anything I have heard here before. It lasted between and half hour and an hour. The noise was so loud, my friend heard it from where she lives, at least 30 miles in the other direction. And, then it quit and there was no more noise. 🙄 So many weird things going on.

      This article ruins my appetite for a couple of meals.
      The first being the obvious. I Oppose this Reset.
      The second being the way the author presents the Reset.
      Bear with me on this because I wrote this as I w0uld have presented it to my high school students than rewrite it for the adults here.

      When I was teaching, I devised my own definitions to explain Communism and Fascism/Nazism.
      I believe Communism was alive and well by the French Revolution even though the term had not been invented. France’s smallest sub-unit of government became the Commune. The French Revolution had more in common with the Communist Revolution in Russia. than with the American Revolution, which is how most text books presented it. Keep in mind that most text books are written by college professors, also known as Communists. Communism was presented as all that is grand and glorious in the world and the deeds of the Nazis speak for themselves.

      I taught that there are two main differences between Communism and Fascism/Nazism.
      1. Both systems sought to control the economy, the control of the means of production and means of distribution. The Communists sent in the party leaders to run the factories, mines, and railroads. The Nazis created so many rules and regulations that the managers and owners had no discretion in running their businesses.
      2. Communism has a International focus since they seek to dominate the world. Therefore, Communism is sometimes called International Socialism. Communists refer to themselves as Scientific Socialism which is why they consider themselves as smarter than their opposition.
      Mussolini was a rising star in the Internationals when he decided that he was proud to be an Italian and created the 3d Way. Capitalism being the 1st Way and Communism being the 2d Way. Mussolini named his philosophy Fascism. The true evil of this philosophy was created by Hitler when he called his philosophy National Socialism which added a racial component, The Nazis were overly proud to be Germans.

      Both the Communists and Fascists/Nazis took their philosophy from the teachings of Karl Marx. I could add more to separate these competing philosophies, but that would go way beyond what is needed to show my objection to the writing.

        The author denounces Fascism as everyone should. Antifa also denounces Fascism.
        Stalin had killed more people by the time Hitler took power, than Hitler would during his entire career.
        For a Communist, the enemy is always to the right which is why the Democrats have yet to criticize Antifa, let alone to really stop the riots.

    Afternoon Stella 🙂 The pics of cathedrals have been gorgeous! What a labor of love taking centuries of difficult and dangerous work. I was inspired to find this for today’s paintings:
    Joseph Mallord William Turner – Rouen Cathedral ca, 1832

    which was done decades before Monet’s painting of the cathedral at sunset ca. 1892-1894

    Joseph Mallord William Turner 1775-1861 was an English landscape painter of romantic-impressionism with some of his paintings being considered abstract art. His paintings sell for 10’s of millions of dollars, (and I believe some even more).     Hi Stella, I was wondering if you could help me or if I should email the Treehouse site. I figure they are getting tons of emails.

    As of last night I can not comment there at all. I’ve been trying daily. I fill out the same email address and screen name as here along with my comment and press enter. It either shows up for minute with my name a bright color then just disappears, or it does not show up at all. Also, when I refresh the page the number of comments significantly decreases.

    The only other place I comment at is a NH based site where I comment as a guest inputting the same email and screen name, but then also pressing “comment as guest” and clicking on the captcha taxis or whatever, then enter. That works OK.

    I apologize if this has been explained in the technical explanations at the Treehouse, but I do not understand them at all. Even though I wrote basic code over 30 years ago, I don’t know anything about IT.

    Thank you in advance for any advice.
