    Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
    let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
    Let us come before him with thanksgiving
    and extol him with music and song.

      See below for locals’ comments on sitting on the couch alone with a can of cold beans for Thanksgiving. Walmart and the locally owned grocers were jammed and some restaurants will be open for your dining pleasure. The big BIG traditional NOLA buffets will not be operating but many of the local eateries will and I don’t see herhonor sending NOPD out to do headcounts, especially as so many local eateries provide police and families with steep discounts.

      The local media, once again, has stopped publishing the large black gatherings weekly under the I-10 and if I were still in NOLA (and gave a rat’s butt) I’d drive by as I’m betting there’ll be a big one as families cook out under the I-10 as rain’s expected. NOPD doesn’t get dispatched to them, it seems that people sitting in high-end restaurants are the primary threat to the national health. I’m going to call the local Fox station and see if they will be doing a drive-by.

      BTW, yet another reminder why Joe and his son Beau wanted to get rid of elected sheriffs and turn law enforcement in rural areas over to appointed chiefs-of-police in the major cities.

        Well, my darling little Loki decided to jump in bed with me about 5:00 AM. I ignored her, but couidn’t go back to sleep, and when she had a dream and barked and ran in her sleep, I got up, sent her back to her bed and tried to go back to sleep. So, it was an early morning. 🙄

          Went to bed at 10 PM last night, felt like crap. I thought I had a cold but after 12 hours of sleep – interrupted only by a 22-pound cat that needed readjusting and around dawn started bothering me to get on with Thanksgiving – I feel as if I’m going to make it. Onward and upward.

      Good afternoon, aus! Give Loki a hug for me. Bee and Gee send her and you a hearty HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Bee and Gee say they’ll be glad to give her pointers on how to get her way about taking over the bed.

        P.S. I was awaken not by a sweet dog but by a phone call from the North Idaho Correctional Institution at Cottonwood. Some poor inmate named George had the wrong number listed for a call. I didn’t speak to him or anyone at the prison since my messaging is always on 24/7 and it was a recorded call with instructions on what to do if I accepted or rejected the call. This particular facility is not maximum security.

        Anyway, I hope George was able to find the correct number to call on Thanksgiving, and said a prayer for him that he would turn away from crime, repent and follow God so he would know the real meaning of both forgiveness and thanksgiving.

    Went to pick up GGS for Thanksgiving and the I-10 for the 40ish miles either direction I drove it was PACKED. There was the usual number of trucks but cars, many with out-of-state plates, were driving in both directions. City traffic in both Slidell and Gulfport was heavy and I’ve never seen so many State Police doing traffic on US 49 in Gulfport, the streets were packed.

    Now the news is saying that TSA has screened a record number of passengers (since the COVID started) flying over the holiday. Good luck locking down the US population,Joe and Kamaka, we ain’t all done took a knee yet – some of us are giving you the finger for Turkey Day.

    Sundance put up a thres next door (ya might wanna go over here): Treehouse Thanksgiving Questionnaire….it’s basically how you found it, what brought you there and why’d you stick around.

    My reply:

    May I be right up there with the others saying ‘**** WordPressure’. When it comes the time that the Americans start winnowing the traitors from their midst I hope the progressive WordPressure ring-kissers are one of the first to feel the burn. They’re an embarrassment to the Constitution and are burning bridges.

    How did you find yourself a member of the CTH community?….I came, I saw, CTH conquered. It’s that simple, it is an open and vibrant platform for free thought.

    What was it that brought you here?… It was Google, back in the days before Google became the Left’s house be-atch. I was Googling something, can’t remember what, perhaps plans for a tree house with a conservative design, and poof, CTH jes done showed up. I touched the flypaper and I done been here for around 12 years, not zackly sure.

    And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value? That’s easy, the rare treat of a ‘like’ from Sundance as he works those switches and levers from behind the curtains.
