Good morning Lucille, up for a cup of coffee. Hot water for tea is rolling , and Coffee is dripping. All should be ready in a minute.
Oh, my two cents on Sidney is, she is working pro bono for the President, in addition, her law firm has accepted donations. That’s how I see this, so the liberals can’t attack her for raising money. L Lynn Wood same issue.
I have turkey’s in the yard eating the deer corn.
      Good morning everyone, short week.

I can’t, my diet is very restricted. Limited on carbs, only 2% or less potassium and some other issues. Minor or major surgery coming up early December. Stents in bile ducts not large enough. Two options; replacing with a larger size minor surgery. If this does not work, doctors will replace bile ducts with
Larger ducts. I’ll be on the rehab kits about 3-5 months.
So I’m praying for the first option.

Ah yes, I understand your situation – same here. Put that corn out about 50 yards and all manner of potential freezer fodder stumbles into a known range. You can stock the larder from the comfort of your front porch as you enjoy that fresh cup of coffee.

Glad to see you’re back on the Form 1.

Don’t mind those Turkeys eating the corn, it’s that cackling they do before the Sun is up.
My neighbor want to come over too stock his freezer…… I’m restricted in eating game meat, even beef jerky!!! Bought some spring feeder yesterday, about 6, counting on beef prices rising.

Day old calves are drying up around here after the big dairy farm closed, feeders at the auction are going up.
Some years back we kept on hearing this ‘skitter…skitter…skitter…THUMP’ outside. I crept around to the driveway from the back and there were three hen turkeys trying to perch on the roof. They’d fly up from the ground close to the peak but as the roof’s steel they couldn’t get purchase so they’d hunker down and their claws would grind on the steel as they slid off (the skitter) and where they were falling off was just over the hood of the truck (the thump). They were there a good 15 minutes before they gave up.

Interesting, seems they took the very conservative route on your eating. After my son’s transplant they told him that all meats, especially wild game, must be cooked to the USDA internal temperature recommendations .

Here’s the thing, the US now scores horribly in the international testing of students in basic studies, and has so for decades. The NEA and their flying monkey minions seem to have decided that the US was too smart and too successful and that those groups who failed to keep up with the educational attainments of the predominant culture were being treated unfairly. If the NEA couldn’t raise the floor they’d lower the ceiling so that those groups weren’t stigmatized. Their programs of lowering the pace of learning to that of the slowest in the class and ‘winning’ not being as important as ‘playing’ seems to be working.

It is incomprehensible to me that anyone would want standards lowered for any kid. We always worked so hard to push our kids to excel. And no, of course they didn’t always excel, some things each of the were rotten at. But they had to try, to work hard, to gain what they could. Seems to me the other option was just being a lifetime loser.

I guess we abused them. And, as they say, sorry, not sorry.

The first crap middle school our GGS went to was largely minority (don’t know how/why the minority community leaders agreed to that) and in those areas he was excelling they basically ignored so that he was reeled in. In those areas he was having problems his problems weren’t as bad as the others’ problems so he was ignored again.. When his mom moved into a better district things picked up.

Is America Doomed to Split Apart?
By Kurt Schlichter – Posted: Nov 23, 2020 12:01 AM

Is anyone else too old to start living on his knees? See, submission is not in the cards. The question is whether preserving our freedom means dissolving the Union. And though our alleged betters tell us we are not allowed to think about that horrible prospect, it’s the ruling caste itself that raised the question.

When you get a vile clown like Chuck Schumer promising to “change America” if he steals another Georgia election in the coming run-off, it only reaffirms that we don’t want to “change America” – at least not into the Venezuela-lite he and his coterie of neo-Marxist bother-wedders, fake Indians, and buck-tooth morons want. We’re not living in a dictatorship of the mediocre-tariat, or of anyone else, period. That’s non-negotiable. Nor does any alleged conservative principle of the kind pushed by supine gimps of the Mitt n’ French variety bind us to do so.

Good morning all. The countdown to Thanksgiving begins. Most of us have extra work and cooking this week, but it is the kind of work we take pleasure in as we prepare to share a special day with special people. May your week be full of joy.

Here’s an article suggesting a way we might up that joy. Ditch social media. Or at least fight our addiction to it.

I got off of Facebook about a month ago. I’ll probably go back, maybe after Advent and Christmas. I miss the grandkids posts too much. But it sure has helped me in my battle against the terrible mortal sin anger.

I knew a long time ago what the social media sites do to their users, early on we had dummy accounts we used to track icky people and even with those more professional accounts their active measures would track the account back to you – or close by – if you weren’t careful. Now some over 20 years later (has it been THAT long???) you might as well just put the Facebook server right in your living room, once you sign up they own your information and life.

I basically found that I didn’t have that many people I really wanted to contact and most of those who contacted me wanted to borrow money or were on some ’12-step program’. I’m old fashioned and make phone calls.

I was out at noon. High fifties here, and the wind is just biting. And we ate the last of the soup a few days ago. Might be time to make some more. Keto diet is not real soup friendly. I tend to love stuff with rich, deep flavors and vegetables, and what is soup without sourdough bread or cornbread?

Much as I’ve been addicted to sweets, I miss breads more. Didn’t even eat a lot of them, but this time of year man was meant to live on soups, stews, and breads. I’m pretty sure that was one of those five commandments Mel Brooks dropped.

Now that I can sometimes stand long enough to cook I little I long to make breads again.

Thus, my preference for Sugar Busters diet, which excludes sugar, white potaotes, corn, white flour products and pineapple to name most of the exclusions. You can have whiole wheat flour, which allows pasta and bread made with that, sweet potatoes, and many veggies.

Thought I’d put this in, I’d posted it next door late last nite but no one replied – it’s almost as if the new crowd there doesn’t care as much about the Islamic advancement in the Mideast as they did some years back.

Some three weeks now since the news broke about the 300 Turkish trained and equipped ISIS fighters Turkey pulled from its supported ISIS brigade in Syria and sent to fight with the Azerbaijani Muslims against the Christian Armenians…whjazzat, you say, who, what?

Well there was a chunk of Armenia (Christian) (Muslim) that was surrounded on three sides by Azerbaijan, a chunk of Armenia the Azerbaijani wanted so they did what Moslems do best when faced with Christian territory they want – they went to war and tried to massacre the Christians and take the land. Problem was the Armenians were successfully blunting the Azerbaijanis. The Russians tried to help the Armenians by supplying older military equipment and supplies. From out of the blue the Turks started supplying modern military equipment, munitions, advisors and fighters to Azerbaijan that started turning the tide against the Armenians. Turkey’s latest move was to send 300 Turkish trained and battle-hardened ISIS fighters from the Turkish trained and equipped contingent Turkey planted as its surrogate in Syria and send them to Azerbaijan to assist in the battle. For those who don’t know or remember it was just a bit over 100 years ago that the Turks massacred somewhere around 4 million Armenian Christians in and around Armenia. The West, eager to please their NATO ally, usually uses a figure of around 1.5 million, a true guesstimate, and ignores the others killed by the Ottomans (not the Turks, you understand) in areas surrounding Armenia. One of those ‘Law and Order’ technicalities.

Fresh news (you won’t see it on the MSM) is that the Turkish-backed Azerbaijani forces retook the territory today and the Christian Azerbaijanis are fleeing quickly to Armenia so as not to be caught up in a latter day Armenian Genocide 2.0. Let’s wait and see what the Ottoman Club does next – will they just quit or will they wait for the Democrats to take office in January and, if there’s the usual Rat pallid reaction to Moslem slaughters of Christians, will they make moves on Armenia and risk a regional war?

The only reason I know about this is because Catholic news sources have been covering it from the first battle, near as I can tell. And also near as I can tell, not too many people can rouse themselves to care.

To be fair, here in this country at least, we’ve been having our own crapstorm.

It is hard to care about the fighting in the Middle East. I mean, half way through that I lost count of who the bad guys are, or were, and who the good guys were. It seems like with muslims, these guys are fighting those guys and after they win, then these guys go after the ones they were partnered with, and everybody goes after the Christians. And, on top of that, the Russians help, one side or the other until they don’t like what they are doing. It just confuses me.

NOTE TO FOX NEWS: President Trump and His Team Have More than Enough Solid Evidence to Prove Their Case – Provided Below
By Joe Hoft – Published November 23, 2020 at 7:15am

Let’s start from the top. What is it that Powell and the Trump team have to prove in order to prove election fraud?

Activists, media, and “the left” in general are demanding that Trump and his team produce evidence “beyond a reasonable doubt” concerning unprecedented fraud in this year’s campaign. This is ridiculous! Although absolutely important in “criminal” cases, complaints such as those filed by the President and his team, only need to show a “preponderance of the evidence”. This is the absolute LOWEST burden of proof, sometimes called the 51-49 standard, or the “balance of probabilities” standard.

Maybe that is why they wanted to clarify she is not on retainer to the President.
