Are the finks crawling out of the woodwork, or what?

What the hell is going on?

Looks like both the named and unnamed are turning on Sydney Powell.

Here are the named:

My answer to Jenna Ellis, who posted the above tweet:

Here are the unnamed, “Trump admin insiders” and “Trump admin national security officials”.

I am absolutely appalled. If this were true, then why would they have held that presser with her speaking second and standing next to Rudy. It makes NO sense at all. Has Soros threatened to blow up the White House with everyone in it?

Me either. There’s a real sh*t storm on Twitter right now. Someone pointed out the Lin Wood is also a lawyer working on the case but not on the Trump legal team. Still don’t understand the statement. Are they afraid of being sued?

Can’t wait to see if Frei and Barnes discuss it in their 7:00 pm live stream. I’ll post it for those who want to watch.

No. Lin and Sidney have far more lateral movement than attorneys retained by POTUS. Lin and Sidney also have far more practical experience in the theatrics of public opinion.

lovely, the statement issued by the White House was lame, regardless of the circumstances. President Trump himself called her a member of the legal team just the other day. The fact that she was a major spokesperson at the press briefing the other day makes this statement awkward and peculiar.

Yes, we do disagree. The WH left themselves open to criticism and speculation about what the statement meant. The Press, as usual, had a field day. Although we don’t believe what they say, at least half the country does. That’s why it is important to be careful when you issue a statement of this kind.

Give it a few days. As far as I know Rudy is still working pro bono himself but as been retained by POTUS. (He can do that for $1.) It really doesn’t have anything to do with pro bono status an attorney is either retained or not retained.

Sidney Powell said quite definitively she was not part of Team Trump and was not being paid by Team Trump, and asked for donations to a web site, in her last Friday interview with Larry O’Conner. https://omny.fm/shows/the-larry-o-connor-show/sidney-powell-on-the-larry-oconnor-show-11-20-20
It was Larry O’Conner who claimed Atty Powell was “Lead attorney for the Trump Campaign legal team” (from the description from the omny.fm link).

Could not find the Washington Examiner article.
The only problems in Jenna Ellis’ twitter feed seen was with Guy Benson, who is a putz and should be ignored.

Mayor Rudy was saying the same things re: Dominion/SmartMartic (may not be correct names) in one of his recent podcasts (one of the last three podcasts).
Unnamed insiders? Unnamed security insiders? Pfffttt Ya, we’ve seen this act too many times.

One suspects a behind-the-scenes falling out.
    But, who knows?

Don’t get any of this. If she was not part of the team and not assigned to investigate a certain aspect and file court cases, then it should have been revealed from the get-go. Are they indicating she is a loose cannon and NEVER a part of any of their investigations but simply pushed her way into the case?

Being part of a legal team does not mean that you are a retained attorney.

this team is so massive it is like a team working for a “Do Good” organization. You have paid staff and you also have volunteers, the bigger the team the more often the line between paid staff and volunteers is not clearly defined in the general public.

Both Powell and Wood have repeatedly said that they are autonomous.

Question: How can an attorney file court cases if he doesn’t have a client?

Sidney said (can’t remember where but I think it was in the Newsmax phone interview) if she gets all the evidence in proper line, she will begin filing cases either on Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

I didn’t hire her. Are only those who contributed to her fund her clients? Or is she filing suits without anyone’s approval?

Doesn’t a client have to have “standing” and all who fall under that category have to put their names to the suit? It can’t just be one great big amorphous group. All those who voted for Biden are also “We The People.” Can they counter-sue because they object to being lumped in with Trump supporters/voters? LOL!

Even in a class action suit people have to be notified and approve their names being hooked to the suit.

            I’m just asking questions.

All I can say is not everyone saw the videos where Sidney said she wasn’t part of the team but privately funded, or perhaps were watching but looked away for five-ten seconds and missed it. The REAL team should have introduced Sidney at the press conference as an adjunct entity who was working pro bono and was not part of the team. Why leave it open to private interpretation of what her role is?

After having listened to Viva/Barnes as well as a whole bunch of other interviews (such as Indiana Sen Todd Young this morning and many others), it seems plausible a whole bunch of high-powered attorneys, who volunteered to work pro bono, were not enamored of working with the likes of a Sidney Powell.
Sen Young told John Catsimatidos this morning the GOP Senate has never had so many attorneys ready to help pro bono.

There is one tweet on Atty Powell’s twitter feed that was removed, so that tweet may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back, whatever that tweet said.

Sure wish Pres Trump had denied anyone speaking for the Trump Administration other than the Press Secretary. Stephanie Grisham had that policy, but sadly no one continued it.

I know Sidney has stated that she was not representing President Trump on several occasions but rather “The American People” I thought it was just hyperbole like when DJT says, “I didn’t win America won.”

I assume the plaintiff in her GA lawsuit is one or more of the people who have signed sworn affidavits.

The press release seems to be a public relations operation. Optics, likely a legal and/or public relations situation.

In a lawfully filed suit the client can’t be “The American People” find out who is on the client line. . Sidney can’t be the client because she lives in NC and the filing is in GA. Again likely one of the people who have signed sworn affidavits.

My best guess is again optics. I believe the MSM was likely coming out with multiple stories on multiple fronts with a propaganda push of Sidney. Very likely MSM was going to attack Powell for accepting donations that would not be allowed to legally be accepted by Trump’s retained attorneys.

    Problem solved.

I think Sundance has this completely wrong. Anyone paying attention (and I am certainly not paying as much attention as many people are, there are many things that no one knows and I think a a lot of opining does not take what they do not know into consideration) knows that any donation made to President Trump is split 80/20 with the RNC, the RNC gets the Lion’s share.

Trump’s base is fired up for Sidney there is no reasonable argument to let the world know (again) that Sidney is not retained by the White House it will only mean less money in the coffers of the RNC and more money directly donated to Sidney.

      • Morning all,

From what I’ve read and many of the comments, this has made more people aware of the 80/20 RNC donation split, & many are now donating directly to Powell & not the RNC. Perhaps that is a reason to put this out. It directs needed donations directly to Powell without outright saying “screw you” to the RNC for sucking up the donations that they (the RNC) would not use to save the Republic.
I’m the type that typically uses a magnifying glass to read the fine print, and have only donated BY MISTAKE ONCE to the RNC. They are very sneaky.

I’ve been lying in the ER waiting for 9 hours so a surgeon to repair a perforated intestine. I cannot believe what I read on both sites. There’s no falling out, it’s been public knowledge the whole time that neither Sidney or Lin worked for the administration. If you work for Pres. Trump you are working for his administration and the legal guidelines an administration must follow, on the other hand a private citizen has a much wider berth. Does anyone believe Biden to be more popular than Pres Obama? Then how can you believe our President and his legal team need to get their shit together? I’m confident it’s a lot more together than some of ours.

Sidney Powell Is an American Legal Giant
By William Marshall – Posted: Nov 22, 2020 12:01 AM

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Sidney Powell for several years. Let me say unequivocally that I would stake my life on her integrity and abilities as a lawyer.

Sidney is one of the most serious, upright individuals you will ever encounter. Her towering physical stature befits a righteous Texan with a towering legal mind.
