    That picture’s either been posted here or next door before. I remember it because I really, really like it. It makes me feel as if I could step right into it, it’s inviting and ‘familiar’.

      Lucille, I got to see New Hampshire, and almost all the other New England states in the fall one year, culminating in a walk on the beach in Maine, where believe it or not, it was still warm enough to wade in the Atlantic. After that we went to have a great seafood dinner and blueberry pie made with those delicious little wild blueberries. It was a fine time.

      This proud Southern gal will put New England foliage even up against my beloved Smokies. Now mind, I ain’t saying better…

        Good morning, Menagerie! Isn’t it wonderful when we can each into our memories and pull out such lovely times. In 1965 I drove through New Hampshire on my way to see family in Nova Scotia, but it was spring…still pretty though without the spectacular colors.

    Someone next door in the Thanksgiving recipe thread posted that they steam their turkey until it’s 3/4 done then put it in the oven to brown the skin. Someone then asked: “How do you steam a turkey?”. I chimed in with: “Tell him he has poor taste in chicks”…so far only one ‘like’, maybe the reference it too obscure.

    I watched a vid by Dr. Steve Turley and he mentioned the Biden camp and minions are accusing President Trump of a coup against Biden! Incredible! Projection on steroids!
