Hi, Tundra! Thanks! Eyes are doing pretty good and the sore bicep tendons in both arms aren’t 100% with the left better than right. Right hand is doing well. I’ll be going back to the doc next week and will try begging him for a cortisone shot in the right arm/shoulder. I know from long experience that it’s a miracle drug for me, but he wanted to do the resting bit first.
I sort of overdid it this last week and posted too much next door. Merely typing is less a problem, but online locating, checking out and posting photos and articles keeps my right arm at an odd angle for much too long.
The first computer I used on the job was a Wang personal computer, probably around 1978 before the mouse was widely used in offices. Everything was done by key strokes which was so much better ergonomically. And there are a number of shortcuts which can still be stroked on a keyboard today, too. I’ll have to check them out to get some more relief.

I’m right there with ya! Steroid injections can work wonders. Good luck with your doc. Some family practice docs don’t choose to do joint injections, so if you don’t get one, request an orthopedic referral.
And we’re having our first snow of the winter today! But the ground’s not well frozen yet, so likely won’t last. May even rain on Monday. Looks pretty for now though.

It is an amazing morning here aus…..We normally don’t have fog, but there’s a layer of fog for at least thirty miles each direction…..I had to go to town this morning and visibility was about one car length the entire trip….
Other than that, it’s about 43 and an absolutely gorgeous late autumn day…..

Good evening, aus! It’s been overcast and rainy all day here. The dreariness was alleviated by having a lovely call from a friend in CA I’ve known for 40+ years. Being a Republican, she needed cheering up because of the election. One of her other female friends, this one for 50 years, is a staunch leftie and they have not spoken for many weeks because the friend swore at her after she was told to not believe lies about President Trump.
I find this attitude amazing because I was a staunch Dem when I met her and had no problem being friends even though we were on opposite sides at the time. But that’s the way it was then. People agreed to disagree and it didn’t come to insults or blows like today. We both agreed that evil is alive and Satan continues influencing people to hate family and friends.
Hope you’ve had a good day with your sweet little dog and gorgeous weather.

Well, this sucks. My DIL just posted a wonderful comment on her Facebook page. I was so impressed and proud of her. She said usually she stays so quiet, but the time has come for conservatives to speak out and it is ridiculous to continue wearing masks, and being controlled, etc.
Well, I checked it again because I got a notification that she had posted a new picture and saw what my niece had written back to her. It was quite civil, but she disagreed about the mask wearing, etc. I have always figured she was a liberal even though we don’t have much contact. She went to public school and became a social worker.
Most of the social workers I know are very extreme liberals. I was shocked to realize my social worker BFF who died a few years ago was a liberal. I had just become aware of politics in the last 10 or 15 years so it never mattered before. I was shocked because she was so smart but believed all those liberal lies and was unaware of the abuse of welfare, etc.
Anyway, I guess dissension has come to my family.

I agree and those words do apply to America. Funny part is that at the time Celtic Thunder was mostly composed of Scotsmen.
I went to see them in Chicago Damien was no longer with them and George Donaldson was still alive. Sadly I was really disappointed, instead of singing their Irish songs they did a lot of pop and it was really sort of awful.

I’m generally known as a quiet person. I’m not usually one to rock the boat. But the way this election is going has made it clear that conservatives need to take a stand and raise our voices. Here’s mine.
The fraud and corruption coming to light in this election is unbelievable. I hope President Trump wins because he has very capably led our country in a positive direction for the last four years, and four more years would be even better. However, I care more about the election itself being conducted fairly and constitutionally. I don’t trust that any of our nation’s institutions are committed to a fair election. Mainstream media and big tech in particular have been appallingly partisan in their interventions and it’s time we hold them accountable.
COVID is NOT WORTH the sacrifices we’ve all made and we’re still being asked to make. It’s essentially a bad flu and the same populations are vulnerable to it. Since when are we so risk averse, as a nation, that we are willing to wear masks everywhere but home? Willing to irreparably damage the economy? Willing to stay away from our families and friends? Willing to hide our faces for every interaction with strangers, and many with friends? The world is upside down when the cure is worse than the disease. Enough is enough.
America is NOT RACIST! The founding ideals and documents of this nation are one of humanity’s greatest achievements. Historically, we have not lived up to those ideals, but that’s because we live in a fallen world and we’re all sinners. We will keep trying, not by tearing down everything this country has ever stood for, but by better honoring the founding ideals. Rioting, violence, and looting in the name of social justice is unacceptable.
I love this country. I’m raising my children to love this country. And I’m willing to fight to preserve it for them.
