Morning all. I wish this would be true. I wish, once and for all, those lying, cheating traitors should be exposed.

Good morning Menagerie. The election fraud is going to SCOTUS. President Trump will remain president. This is another coup attempt.
The marked ballots is not a true story.
That’s ok. There would be no way to keep something like that quiet with all the turncoats in DC and the ballots would all be compromised.

I know. I just fantasize about very publicly catching them with their hand in the candy jar. But you know what? They’d say they didn’t do it, their sheep wouldn’t care one way or the other, and that would be that.

Right? there are none so blind as the sheep.

Thanks for this, Menagerie. A glimmer of light in the darkness.

We got one for “I voted ” & one for “I voted for president”.

My friend got one. When they told me that they weren’t giving them out I said “Well that’s bullish*t.”
So much nonsense.

I voted by mail. They sent one to me with my ballot. I wonder if any cooties traveled through the mail?

I think it’s time to renew the Good News & Happy Stories posts, don’t you? My happy thoughts for today:
1. We are experiencing Indian Summer – daytime temps in the 70’s and nights in the high 40’s. Will continue through Wednesday.
2. I had pork and sauerkraut and squash for dinner. Delicious! I browned the pork chunks (pork shoulder) then mixed and added the sauerkraut and baked it all, covered, for about an hour and a half. To prepare the sauerkraut, I drained a pound of jarred sauerkraut and mixed it with about 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of cider vinegar and an equal amount of real apple cider. Added sliced apple and shallots.

This sounds great. I have tried and failed to make sauerkraut. I’m careful, sterilize everything, but keep getting the bad kind of bacteria that turns it pink. Everyone makes kraut! I can’t for the life of me figure out what I’m doing wrong. Can’t find answers online either.

I haven’t made my own sauerkraut yet. I know that fresh is more healthy than jarred, because it isn’t pasteurized.
I used to use the bagged sauerkraut, because I thought it was better. I recently found out that they have to use preservatives in the bagged sauerkraut because the bags are permeable and allow bacteria in.

Bubbies sauerkraut is in the refrigerated section. It has live cultures in it. And there is also a Bubbies pickles too.

Maybe you aren’t using enough salt? I know that different kinds of salt are “saltier” than others. For instance, Morton kosher salt is saltier than Diamond Crystal kosher salt by volume. I think it has to do with the way the salt is flaked.

LOL. I have been sitting here watching a. western where they were in a blizzard and people were getting frostbite and freezing to death. I got a chill and it crossed my mind, I wonder if the kids next door playing outside are cold. {snort} The reason I got a chill is because I am sitting in front of a vent and the air conditioner is running like crazy. It is 80* outside at 8:00 PM.

And I just finished making preparations for a big winter storm headed our way aus….We’ve been issued a blizzard warning starting Saturday night running thru Monday with an expected 16 to 24 inches of snow and I guess I’m as ready as I’m gonna get….
The heating guy showed up yesterday and serviced my furnace and water heater, so as long as the power stays on, I should stay toasty warm…not 80 degree toasty, but definitely toasty.

Well, I do hope you stay toasty. 🙂 I remember when I was in Upstate NY , I enjoyed the snowstortms as long as I didn’t have to go anywhere.

I don’t mind the storms nearly as much as I did when I had to get up and drive to work.

I remember the first snowstorm we had started in the evening and I was afraid I wouldn’t sleep a wink with the county snowplow ( a very large one) going back and forth every 15 min with its light shining in my bedroom window but it wasn’t enough to keep me from sleeping with the snow coming down outside.
