Whoever is nominated for #SCOTUS today will be the recipient of the Left’s greatest attempts at personal and professional evisceration. May God give that person supernatural strength to withstand the evil attacks.

No coincidence, perhaps, that today is the National Day of Prayer and Return, and that Franklin Graham’s Prayer March is taking place today, in DC, with thousands present.

Well, it’s clear from the get-go who is the nominee. I wonder if POTUS made the correct choice here, or if it is a UNI-PARTY decision?

This is a woman who will draw the maximum amount of venom and has only been a judge for three years.

The more I read the last few days, I would concur with your summation, counselor. It sounded to me that the young lady down in FL might have been a better selection. Maybe she can be the next one. Gawd knows we don’t need another Roberts up there getting squishy.

Jon Scott had a clip from an interview with POTUS, set to air tomorrow morning, Fox & Friends.
From the President’s words, it appears all these judgeships are a collaboration of POTUS and McConnell. They expect to have 300 judges approved by 2021 inauguration.
Have a listen tomorrow morning and see what you think.
Interview is with Pete Hegswhatchamacallit (apologies, names not my strong suit).

I was curious about her name being leaked. I wonder if Pres. Trump leaked it to keep the attention on her nomination, I really wish they would skip the questioning session since the Dems are going to act out anyway.

Wondered the same. Leaking to Lindsey Graham made it certain word would get out.
Graham was even stupid enough to allow his name to be known as the leaker, which leads one to believe it was deliberate.
      But, who can say?

I am hoping that some of the negativity surrounding Amy Coney Barrett from Conservatives is more caution than credible. Barrett learned at the feet of Justice Scalia, so she is very careful with her words and cautious with her commitments.

    Smart lawyering.

I wonder how the friendship of Scalia and Ginsburg impacted her view of the SCOTUS. I think that is a positive, she learned to hold her cards close to her chest while hearing out an opposing view, if she can just do that, keep to the law, be a dead Constitutionalist, and not let personalities and popularity cause her to sway I think we have a winner winner chicken dinner.

Cut from a different cloth than the rest of the Justices is going to give her a comfortable separation.

I’ve read a bit about the “People of Praise” the Catholic Community that she is a member of, it comes out of the charismatic movement of the 60’s and is faithful to Rome while being ecumenical, getting the cult table to stick to that is going to be difficult for the thinking constituent. Certainly not a group that thinks it is more Catholic than the pope….Well maybe more Catholic than out current pope but that is a whole can of worms that I choose not to open…

One last observation, “People of Praise” are certainly not in a popularity contest, that is another plus in the awesome column.
