I must have watched it 20 times on-and-off yesterday. I found it so distracting and…happy making…that I couldn’t put it away. I think I just might put the clip of the wagging dog tail in the leaf pile on my phone.

Yesterday was a really odd day for me. This vid made me laugh in spite of lousy health news. Thank God there was good news, too. But at times the “poor me” attitude takes a big longer to disperse. Laughter at animal antics sure helps.

Ah, the typos, the typos…the brain sees “bit” but the fingers have typed “big”…LIFE! One of my favorite sayings is “keep on putting one foot in front of the other.”

I’m sorry Lucille, and hope things will improve for you. Believe me, I understand the poor me emotions. The fight is tiring. You bring a lot of light and beauty to us here. Thank you!

Is one room of your house exclusively for the libation collection? A comfy leather recliner and a selection of calming CDs should probably go in there, too.

We do have a shelf in the pantry and a couple of boxes of assorted beverages in a closet ( a leftover from this being a dry county) but nearly any room is a libation room.

It seems I can’t go a day without finding fault with the news.

I was just sitting here, having a nice cup of coffee, and the local news pops on a story about VJ Day complete with interviewing local vets. The talking head says that today marks the anniversary of Japan surrendering to the United States that formally ended WW2. Well first off today is the anniversary of Japan signing the articles of surrender on a US ship but it surrendered to the Allies, not the US alone.

Second, Japan had actually ‘surrendered’ weeks before – we had troops in Japan the ground officially occupying Japan and directing surrender operations weeks before the articles were signed. The Emperor read the surrender to the Japanese people over radio on August 15th.

Third…and a small thing…the actual state of war between Japan and the Allies didn’t officially end until the Treaty of San Francisco in 1952 and Russia didn’t agree to end the state of war until 1956. If you’re a nitpicker then all Japan officially did today was to sign the official articles of surrender, agreeing to the Allies negotiated terms.

I called the station and talked to a person in the newsroom – it was like explaining alternate side of the street parking to a duck. He’s an editor who apparently doesn’t edit much. I told him that he should just correct the ‘Japan surrenders to the US’ bit as no one really teaches WW2 and fewer even care but that ‘surrender’ bit was blatantly wrong. He said that they’d ‘research’ that and if they found they were wrong they’d correct it. I thanked him and went back to my coffee.

I don’t think you “found fault with the news” czar. You found fault with the sound bite they inserted in their program and called news. They no longer even strive to meet the barest definitions of accuracy and truth. It’s really fiction very loosely based on actual indigents. Maybe, kinda, sorta.

Have you seen CNN’s latest rumor – that President Trump has had a stroke or some mini strokes?

Who could believe this? The man is in public and speaking every day.

I posted this at CTH today. It’s downright horrendous that NO ONE is lengthily explaining verbally to the public what the BLM is about. I’d love to hear an Administration speech on this or maybe President Trump inviting the author, John Perazzo, to the White House so the info would get even greater exposure.

This is the most important informational read, outside Holy Scripture, you’ll do today. I’ve included several paragraphs of the first page. On a Word document it runs to 32 pages. Front Page Magazine is offering the document in pamphlet form, which would be so valuable to send to your Congressional representatives and senators. In the meantime, send the article link to everyone you know.

Our nation depends upon a truthfully informed citizenry and right now, as we well know, the citizenry is being heavily lied to about this hate group. The BLM and other communists think they smell victory. Please, God, let it be a huge defeat…have mercy upon America!

Black Lives Matter: Marxist Hate Dressed Up As Racial Justice
A new investigative report from the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
By John Perazzo – Tuesday, September 1, 2020

    “What’s in a Name?

“During the run-up to the war in Iraq in early 2003, a coalition named United for Peace & Justice (UPJ) played a central role in organizing most of the major anti-war demonstrations across the United States. The coalition’s name was deliberately crafted to evoke positive associations in the hearts of the American people. After all, who could possibly oppose such lofty virtues as “peace” or “justice”?

“But United for Peace & Justice’s actual purpose had very little to do with either of those virtues. At its core, it was a hate-America coalition that sought to save the regime of one of the monsters of the 20th century, Saddam Hussein, using slogans that relentlessly accused the U.S. of pursuing a “policy of permanent warfare and empire-building” around the world.

“The co-chair and principal leader of UPJ was Leslie Cagan, a longtime Communist Party member and a national leader of the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy & Socialism, a self-identified Marxist entity seeking to bring “a 21st Century socialism” to America. In the Sixties, Cagan was an enthusiastic supporter of the Black Panther Party, a gang that waged armed warfare against the police and engaged in criminality that included drug dealing, pimping, rape, extortion, assault, arson and murder.

“Cagan was also a strong supporter of the Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, whose nation she described as ‘not an abstract idea of socialism or revolution,’ but as a society whose principal hallmark was a type of ‘humane interaction among people’ that she ‘had never witnessed’ in the United States. And she supported the 2002-03 ‘Not In Our Name’ initiative, a project of the Revolutionary Communist Party that seeks to achieve a Communist America by means of a ‘revolutionary war’—complete with ‘great bloodshed and destruction’—waged “right within the belly of this most powerful imperialist beast’.”

Luka Sulic and Evgeny Genchev on piano – “Nuvole Bianche” by Ludovico Einaudi
Recorded at Fusine Lakes in Tarvisio, Italy on an obviously hot day–July 25, 2020.

Sulic is Slovenian-Croatian and part of 2CELLOS with Stjepan Hauser (they are on hiatus right now, having needed a break from world touring and probably each other–in an interview Luka jokingly said he has three children, two of his own and Stjepan). Genchev is Bulgarian (I think he is so handsome and in some photos looks quite Arabic). He and Luka went to the Royal Academy of Music in London at the same time, and about Luka said that when he came to the Academy from studying in Vienna, he became THE cello player there.

A coalition is behind these riots and anarchists are one of the groups. While they will not admit it, they are without a plan on rebuilding or what will be built. If the Left wins the first battle, the Left will fragment and the 2d round of bloodletting begins.

I am not sure why these are posting.
Either BLM or Antifa has said that they will take to the streets and overthrow the govt if Trump is re-elected. That was no surprise to me.
I believe if Biden wins, they will take to the streets and kill those that oppose their agenda.
