Passion fruit grows wild around here. Looks like something alien.

Mornin’ Stella!

Good day to you, WeeWeed! That’s actually a great idea and not just for trolling purposes. If DJT supporters bought 2 20-packs of Forever stamps, maybe that would pay down the USPS deficit quite a bit.

Mornin/ everyone. We are in St. Augustine.
Yesterday was rough. I won’t go into all the computer problems we had yesterday. I am thinking we are too old to be doing this. Sun, hauling my suitcase down the stairs, liftingitinto the car, out of the car, lifting it into her car, out of her car, hauling it up a few steps to the cart up to the room and I was nearly crippled. I tried to set up delivery of groceries from walmart, but they couldn’t del until thurs. so we had to go shopping. the heat is killer. today is better. sofar.
the room is very nice but smaller than we who are obviously spoiled are used to. I talked to the kennel and my doggie seems to be having a good time. She runs the fence with the other dogs, separated, of course. and loves it and does her twirling when she goes inside. That means she is happy.
going to two wineries today. i may feel even better soon. 🙄 i don’t have to drive. 🙂

Good afternoon, aus! Glad to hear Loki is doing so well in the kennel. That’s a load off your mind, freeing you up to have a good time trying not to faint with the heat. LOL! Have a great vacation anyway!

Growing grapes and making wine in. St. Augustine?!?!

Yeah, we went to the St. Augustine winery. We bought a bottle of ruby Port. It is so good. We also went to a whiskey place. But, we didn’t buy anything………..except for some chocolate with bourbon in it. Very good. Had a terrible t-storm when we were out.

Yay! Got my internet back. The tech replaced ALL of the wiring back to the pole AND the box! Took him more than 2 hours.

After the suspense yesterday concerning who POTUS was going to pardon today, my response to this was, “Oh, for stupid.”
….a needless burning over of the country’s overloaded attention span..

August new moon 2020: Rare ‘Black Moon’ brings dark skies for stargazing
By Jesse Emspak (3 hours ago 8/18/20)
See Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and more! But don’t expect to see the moon on Aug. 18.
The new moon occurs Tuesday (Aug. 18) at 10:41 p.m. EDT (0241 GMT Aug. 19), according to NASA’s SkyCal site. This new moon is also considered a “Black Moon,” or the third new moon in a season with four new moons.

The Morning Briefing: DNC Night One—I Think the Democrats Want Trump to Win
By STEPHEN KRUISER August 18, 2020 4:47 AM EST
Well, the 2020 Democratic National Convention (DNC) kinda/sorta got underway on Monday night and we’re still waiting to hear from the twelve people who aren’t in political media who watched it. Those who did were in for a real treat if they’ve never had a concussion or done hallucinogenic drugs before and wondered what either is like without having to actually experience them.

Wow, Laura won! Terrific! Now it’s on to a very challenging and heavy November.
Great that Nick will be at the convention. Wonder who else they will bring forward.
