That last photo is a bachelor button. I have them growing in my garden.

Such a beautiful color to have in a garden. I read that the petals are good to eat, too.

We used to grow nasturtiums and put them in salads. Taste like radishes.

‘Mornin’ WW, Stellars.
A good many of us went dark back in 2016, especially the Campaign office staff. None have returned visibly. The memories remain.
But we’ve never gone away.

Just like the Tea Party never “died.” We now know the tricks of the Uniparty. Mornin’ Jeans!

Me too. That’s annoying.

Compared to the Clinton and Obama years I think that the open activity has subsided as there’s not as much need for it when we have a Conservative in the WH.
Conversely we’re seeing more Leftist activity being displayed than we did when we had a Leftwing (crooked) puke in the WH. Whoever’s not in power’s going to be out expending energy and the threat of a violent confrontation with the Left also figures in with the Right’s not marching in the streets.
What we need is a Conservative version of Soros to fund Conservative street and political actions….hear that POTUS?

92 degrees,80% humidity and a run to the fermenting dump is in the cards. Just peachy.

You have such lyrical descriptions of the always-entertaining crooked pukes. lol

They inspire me. Plus it’s an old military term.

Good morning, WeeWeed! Conservatives don’t want Antifa arriving at our houses to harass or injure us; and we don’t want our bosses to fire us. So a lot of folks keep quiet.
Re pollsters, if it’s a pollster calling, I let it go to voicemail. It’s not that I’m fearful of revealing my opinion, but I simply do not answer questions from anyone I don’t know personally. I’m vocal enough among friends and family and certainly online, though online is mostly anonymously.

I’ve always said if I ever GET polled, I’ma lie, anyway. Afternoon Lucy!

People did not tell the pollsters the truth. Which is why for weeks the media broadcast Hillery would be elected. Even up to 10 p.m. EST.

Remember Swift Boat Kerry? Most of Florida lied on their exit polling to the press on that one, too.

Mornin’ everyone. Hot, sunny, humid……….you know the drill. My friend said the weather guessers said it was going to be dry yesterday. It was………until it started storming……………and pouring later in the evening.
I am surprised at the story about the shooter and shootee from yesterday that FOX is giving out. They are saying he didn’t have a weapon and that he was in a crouched position as though he was going to fire. They didn’t mention the hostage and both the shootee and the shooter went to the hospital. So, what was that video that they showed yesterday? Very strange indeed.

Good day to you, aus! The sun is shining and it’s going to be 84 today with a 30% humidity. I’d love to sit on the patio but we’ve got an influx of wasps in our complex. They love to make their homes behind the decorative window shutters.
So instead I’ll dream of being out here…

I bought GGS a can of wasp spray that sprays from 26′ away and he went to town on the eaves. Is your association going to hire a “bug man” to eliminate them?

Management has sprayed, but I saw one lone wasp yesterday. So the little buggers are persistent in trying to find an unsprayed spot. I don’t mind bees, but wasps and yellow jackets seem to have ugly dispositions…maybe ’cause we’re always trying to kill them…LOL!

I was stung by a yellow jacket one year. It was stinging poor Stella (the dog) and I brushed it off her, when it stung me. It followed us in the house and I had to spray it with Raid.
Really hurts!

I got stung by one of them on my upper lip, years and years ago. Talk about painful.

I’ve used that wasp spray too. I think I still have a can of it.

A hole in the ground works as does in some disintegrating railroad ties. That was after I found them under some Masonite siding.
It took a couple of years, but I did get rid of them.

Our smallish town has a store that has just opened that’s showing a few classic cars. No indication that any are for sale or to what degree they’ve been restored but they have what looks like a ’56 T-bird there and it makes me drool.

We have some nice yellow pitcher plant bug eaters around here – I had a nice 50-square-foot patch pf ’em going until the county parked its road equipment right on top of them.
