Awwwww…lion cubs, one of the cutest and most cuddliest things there are. I got to hold and play with quite a few of them in the early 70s in Florida where they were ‘the’pet to buy if you had the money and a stupid streak.

Think of a soft, fat 30-pound kitten with teeth like roofing nails and claws like eagle talons. You can feel how, when ‘innocently’ playing with you they’re practicing to turn you into lunch. Remember how, when playing with a kitten, it will turn, grab you, lock its teeth and claws into your hand and then look at you to see if you approve and what you’re going to do next? Think about that kitten being 20-30 pounds and having claws and dentition like kitchen utensils. Then think of it as an adult weighing 300 to 400 pounds – you’re going to tell who to get out of your dinner plate or off of your couch?

My friend was a safari hunter in Africa until he contracted Malaria. He then trained lions for commercials and Hollywood stuff. His were the lions used in a big cosmetic campaign in the 70’s or 80’s . He did touristy things with them also.

We all went to a pool party at a friend’s house once, I’ll never forget the huge scars from his collarbone past his navel. Huge puffy white lines some of them inches apart. Their paws are so huge….

Oh and he wore a toupee, a really bad toupee which I just thought of and it made me laugh.

Worst one I dealt with was a case where the guy had hand-raised a male cub to an older juvenile. It was ‘tame’ (didn’t attack or eat any of the responders) but you still sweated with it rubbing up against the bars over the door in its room or ‘playfully’ reaching through the bars with a paw the size of a serving platter. “He just wants some attention”, the owner said.

He wanted it gone as it had taken the habit of marking the house as male cats will. The guy would back up to a couch or wall and unleash a few quarts of cat urine – think catbox times 500 each time. In places the kitty had completely dissolved the sheetrock, this guy used Odormute in ‘buy stock’ quantities. Nope,no lions for me.

Many moons ago DH’s brother was hired to weld some pens for an old lady north of Odessa that had a self-proclaimed “cat sanctuary.” My child was about 18mos. – 2 yrs. at the time and we all loaded up and went out there with Richard so he could get an idea of materials/labor/whatnot involved in the job and we were all excited to see the cats, of course. While he was out there doing his thing we were in the house with the old lady – she had several juvenile species just roaming around the house, loose, which I noticed when I saw a young black jaguar stalking the kiddo (and NOT playfully)….. anyway, the house had those in-the-floor registers and I kid you not, when the heat kicked on it would make yer eyes bleed….

Yeah. The county received calls about the guy with the acres of cats but he had a permit and was grandfathered. To give you an idea, the first neighbor that called lived a quarter mile away though we thought maybe the cat’s ‘singing’ may have been the real reason.

The poor old lady was eventually shut down….. guy with the ranch next to hers had racehorses and more $$$$$$ but really. One little ol’ woman in charge of several large wild cats??? It was a killin’ just waiting to happen. And cruel for the cats in the weather of that godforsaken area, too.

Some people are flat crazy. Also in Odessa – I’se at the vet one day with a mere housecat and some stupid Karen walked in with a grown badger. It was horrible – it growled and shrieked and bared its teeth at everyone, everything. Anyway, when she got back there with the vet she told him Poopsie needed a rabies shot and he told her it wouldn’t do a bit of good because Poopsie was a WILD ANIMAL…..she insisted, and he made HER hold it down. And it tore.her.up. Dumbass.

When I was a young girl, we went to a park in California that trained animals for movies. They put on a show a couple times a day. When we went, one big male lifted his leg and sprayed all across the spectators. It was a really vile smell! Barely missed me, lol.

Don’t mean to break the revelry many feel about the release of this info but if we look at how the FBI/DoJ had much of this info in their hands for over 5 years before the election what makes anyone think that the prosecution’s really going to go forward now?

I do happen to be one of those folks who thinks we will see prosecutions. My reasoning is that it is going to be the only way to stop the cable from destroying President Trump’s family in the way they tried to destroy General Flynn through malicious prosecution.

Trump has often tipped his hand months, even years before things took shape.

I agree. There are a world of people looking at what is going on in Dem held cities, comparing that to the charges against the St. Louis couple, and the defund the police crap, and they are going Oh hell no!

Apologies for the run on sentence rant.

When the lazy non thinking John Q Public gets this kind of stark contrast exposed to them they will vote for their own safety. And I have about zero confidence in American citizens. Most choose to be complacent and ignorant, but now they can’t hide from reality.

Did CNN’s Stelter Shatter The Sandmann Confidentiality Agreement?

“Breach of a confidentiality agreement” that includes lying about the settlement. I expect a quiet behind the scenes mitigation that ends with Stelter walking the plank.

Even an interesting headline, Turkey a liberal seems to acknowledge that Stelter breached the confidentiality agreement, the question is did he “shatter it”. Interesting wording. In other words “To what degree did Chucklehead harm himself and CNN.

Mornin’ everyone. Boy, I sure have missed Nyet. I didn’t realize how much. Glad to know he is around. Temps down here a little, only 83* today, but the humidity is killer.

I am so excited. I have wanted to get a new mattress for years. Mine just isn’t firm enough. When I stayed at my son’s house, they had a new mattress in the guest room and it was so hard. I loved it. It turns out it wasn’t expensive, under $250. The problem is I have had no one to carry the old mattress out. Well, a very nice young man has been staying next door with my very nice neighbors and he is waiting for an apt here in the complex to open up. I asked him if he had furniture and he said he had bought a few things. So, I offered him my old mattress if he would just take it out and carry in the new one. My mattress is old, but the day I brought it home I sealed it in a mite mattress cover and even put another mattress cover on it. It doesn’t appear to be sagged, either. I want him to try it out and make sure he wants it, but even if he doesn’t, he might carry it out for me. So, I can go ahead and order the new one.

I have a Sleep Number mattress. It’s a full size, one control style (the cheapest). I love that you can adjust the firmness any time. These mattresses last at least twice as long as a conventional mattress too. I added a memory foam top for even more comfort.

I had my neighbor come in and check out the mattress. I told him to lie down on it and see if he liked it. His eyes got so big. He is over the moon he loves it so much. He must have thanked me a dozen times. So, my son sent me the information so I can order the exact mattress that they have. All I have to do, hopefully, is order it. 🙂

I’m sure that way back in your misty memories, back before the Chinese infected the US with a virus to influence the November elections (or so I heard down at the Ihop), you remember the Canadian government arresting Huawei Technologies executive Meng Wanzhou, then the Chionese arrested Canadians, then they started sniping at each others’ products…..?

Well the Chinese customs bureau has stopped the export of a COVID vaccine developed jointly by a civilian-ish company and the Chinese military (feel those Spidey senses tingling?). The vaccine was supposed to be tested on Canadians after being approved for use on the Chinese military (there goes that tingle again), perhaps to see how it works on gweilo…see a much earlier post. Canadians would test it and the results are supposed to convince the rest of the European world it’s safe to use.

So we’re supposed to believe that a lone Chinese government bureaucratic office is stopping the central government overlords from shipping an hugely important vaccine to the West for beta testing. Sigh…how stupid do levels of government think we are?

      PDJT Tweet July 30, 2020-
“Drug prices will soon be lowered massively. BIG PHARMA (Drug Companies) are advertising against me like crazy because lower prices mean less profit. When you watch a Fake Ad, just think lower drug prices!!!”

As of April [2020], five vaccine candidates have moved into clinical development in early stage human trials, including Cansino’s, called Ad5-nCoV.

On May 12, 2020 the Canadian government stated – “The COLLABORATION[with Cansino] announced on Tuesday will allow CANADA’s publicly funded research COUNCIL to try to scale up the technology needed TO PRODUCE enough of the candidate vaccine TO PROTECT CANADIANS.”

On May 12th, 2020 Canadian Justin Trudeau INVITES the CHINESE MILITARY to test THEIR vaccine, called AD5-nCoV IN CANADA [notice how in April this vaccine was being touted as being from a company called CanSino, but Sparkles let’s the cat out of the bag that the vaccine is actually under the control of the Chinese military]

Civilianish Company is Cansino Biologics…CanSino Biologics was founded in 2009 in Tianjin, China. – It went public on the HONG KONG Market and opened 59% up on opening day… One of Cansino’s biggest “investors” is SDIC…

State Development & Investment Corporation is the largest state-owned investment holding company in China. It was established on 5 May 1995, and by the end of 2008, it had a workforce of more than 60,000 employees with registered capital of US$2.4 billion

July 8th AMLO and President Trump gather at the White House to celebrate the USMCA Trade Agreement and discuss tariffs. Sparkle Sox Trudeau is a no-show.

And now for some strange reason the shipments of a vaccine into Canada have been halted.

A gaze into my cloudy crystal ball sees the following possibility:

Sparkle Sox will declare that Canada is collaborating with CanSino but he’ll will never acknowledge that CanSino is a 100% Chinese owned & Chinese staffed pharmaceutical company.

Sparkles will elude that Canada has a big part in the creation of this life saving vaccine and the benevolent Panda will tell the world that they can’t ship the vaccine because of the big bad tariffs imposed by PDJT.

Sparkles will accuse PDJT of killing Canadians because Sparkles can’t get the vaccine and our Communist Congressional members will attack PDJT and demand the tariffs be rescinded on pharmaceuticals to help lower world wide drug costs.

I’ve been curious about the origins of the virus since before it became news here, I was watching the Chinese feeds before the media’s ‘official’ start date. From Day One the virus has had a military taint to it and all of China’s actions surrounding it are, at the very best, suspicious.

Thing is that even if the US government knew the Chinese had introduced it to the West on purpose they couldn’t come out with it as it would be an act of war and the response would make Mad Max look like a cartoon.
