“Mesa Verde National Park was established in 1906 to preserve and interpret the archeological heritage of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years, from 600 to 1300 CE.” It is located in southwest Colorado.

Spruce Tree House
“View of the cliff dwelling, Spruce Tree House, from the back porch of the Chief Ranger’s Office. Spruce Tree House is one of the best preserved cliff dwellings in the park. Most of the walls, wood, and plaster are original. Archeologists have identified at least 120 rooms and eight kivas, making this the third largest cliff dwelling in the park. By the late 1270s, up to 19 households (60 to 80 people) lived here.” No sure if the webcam is onstream during the shutdown…

Was ‘Russia Collusion’ a Diversion From the Real Scandal?—John Solomon & Seamus Bruner Talk Spygate
American Thought Leaders – The Epoch Times – July 22, 2020
“For over 2 years, The Epoch Times has been investigating the FBI’s ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign and related FISA abuse, what’s now often known as ‘Spygate.’ According to investigative journalists John Solomon and Seamus Bruner, co-authors of “Fallout,” the seeds of this scandal go back well before President Trump came into the picture, as far back as 2009—and directly involve the highest offices of the country. This is American Thought Leaders…and I’m Jan Jekielek.”

Just did my dear. Let us know what happens.
You never know… sometimes things work out for the best when we don’t think they will. I had broken my arm up the top near my shoulder in 3 places – a mess. The doctor refused to operate and put in all sorts of metal things to re-build because of all my allergies. He said I’d only be able to raise my arm as far as my eyes if I tried hard at PT. Well, I can move my arm all the way over and to the back of my head. I was gently persistent for 3 1/2 years at exercising it. My physical therapist said gentle persistence over a long time is the way to go.
You never know.

So her home sits on ‘stolen’ land, eh!? That would mean that all of those free homses the BLM folks want everyone to have would sit on stolen land too. Wait…don’;t we already have free homes on stolen land for the non-productive? Aren’t they called Public Housing Projects?

It ain’t stolen if a BLM is using it, breaking it, or interested in it in anyway or so they say. I have an answer for their mindset but …………

Good day to you, aus! It’s been really awful weatherwise here in the Panhandle. Today will have a high of 84 degrees and I hope that holds true. I can’t bear to have air conditioning on during the night but I got up at 3:00 AM to turn on the living room fan hoping cool air would invade my room.
Off I go into the closest sailing craft for a day of cool breezes and beautiful vistas…

Seen on Facebook:
Very interesting interview with John Solomon this morning on America’s News re his new book. He shared something not in his book. He said when he went on Hannity early in 2017 to discuss the fake dossier [one of his first appearances] he mentioned he was hearing Hillary was behind it.
When he got home that night he noticed a blue vehicle parked in front of his home, he got out of the car and two men walked up, asked if he was John Solomon, he told them he was. They told him they had seen his appearance on Hannity and he should know he was only at the tip of the iceberg and he should dig deeper.
He went in and called Sara Carter and this is when the two of them really started seriously going after the witch hunt. He said there is indeed people in the justice system who want this entire thing uncovered.

And they’re for the most part scared ****less that were they to come forward their lives as they knew them would be over. If you go back over the history of government whistleblowers you’ll see that despite government assurances that they’ll be all right their lives took a downward turn.
The Congress passes the laws to protect those who come out and tell the truth but the power people from Congress down to the trenches know that snitches get stitches and there’s a raft of ways to legally get ’em. Generally their lives as far as employment with any business that has a government contract is over too.
The Rats are crawling thru the underbrush setting up ways to obfuscate any investigations and roadblock any prosecutions were Trump to be reelected this Fall. If he doesn’t get reelected the investigations will get labeled Trump-inspired red herrings and set on a path to turn the whole thing into an alt-right conspiracy story.

That vid Lucille put up upthread is really excellent. Listened overnight. Solomon and his co-author really let loose some truthbombs, and Jan Jekelik does a good job with questions. An hour long, but worth it.

Just a sample of the punch:
Leaving aside that Trump is not a bully who starts these fights – that’s Lie No. 16 in my new book – the fact is that we didn’t elect Donald Trump to be President Feelgood Happy Time. We elected him to take a sledgehammer to the garbage establishment whose corruption, incompetence, and greed impoverished, insulted, and sometimes even killed normal Americans, regardless of which half of what the great Michael Walsh labeled the Bipartisan Fusion Party sat in the White House. And when you elect a sledgehammerer – and Trump is the John Henry of American politics – don’t come to me shaking your head muttering, “Goodness gracious, I expected him to be more subtle.”

The big thing in our joint anthropology work with BYU was ‘where did the Anasazi disappear to?’. My theory was that enterprising Pueblo real estate developers built those sandstone condos, sold them to the Anasazi and used the profits to move to Miami. The Anasazi found that over time the condo maintenance was killing them and slowly abandoned them scattered to the suburbs.

Read a blog yesterday, and the author was one of the most deranged authors ever read. This guy listed every conspiracy theory known to date to prove his “point,” then ended happily having won his non-existent war.
My first reaction was “seek help,” but after introspection removed my comment and moved on.
This guy really needed help, though. Still not certain which was the correct course of action.

Some stats from Michigan:
From a Traverse City RN…..
Today I want to provide a Covid-19 update looking at the hospitals in Michigan. Since March 23rd I had been tracking the number of Covid-19 positive patients at three hospital systems: University of Michigan, Beaumont and Henry Ford.
A week ago I started looking around the state to see what other hospital systems are publishing data. I am now tracking data for Munson (8 locations, 878 staffed hospital beds) and Spectrum Health (15 locations, 2417 staffed hospital beds)
So here is what I found:
University of Michigan Medicine (3 locations, all in Ann Arbor)
April 15th: 229 patients
June 24th: 8 patients
July 1st: 5 patients
July 8th: 9 patients
Beaumont Hospitals (8 locations, 3286 beds)
April 7th: 1101 patients
June 24th: 120 patients
July 1st: 111 patients
July 8th: 118 patients
Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit) [685 beds]
April 4th: 328 patients
June 24th: 9 patients
July 1st: 9 patients
July 8th: 13 patients
Henry Ford West Bloomfield [191 beds]
April 8th: 129 patients
June 24th: 2 patients
July 1st: 3 patients
July 8th: 2 patients
Henry Ford Macomb [433 beds]
April 8th: 158 patients
June 24th: 1 patient
July 1st: 3 patients
July 8th: 6 patients
Henry Ford Wyandotte [357 beds]
April 10th: 104 patients
June 24th: 2 patients
July 1st: 1 patient
July 8th: 3 patents
Henry Ford Allegiance (Jackson, MI) [353 beds]
April 17th: 54 patients
June 24th: 2 patients
July 1st: 1 patient
July 8th: 2 patients
Munson Cadillac (49 beds)
July 1st: 2 patients
July 8th: 1 patient
Munson Charlevoix (25 beds)
July 1st: 0 patients
July 8th: 0 patients
Munson Grayling (88 beds)
July 1st: 3 patients
July 8th: 1 patient
Munson Kalkaska (110 beds)
July 1st: 0 patients
July 8th: 0 patients
Munson Manistee (45 beds)
July 1st: 0 patients
July 8th: 0 patients
Munson Traverse City (442 beds)
July 1st: 4 patients
July 8th: 0 patients
Munson Otsego Memorial (80 beds)
July 1st: 0 patients
July 8th: 0 patients
Spectrum Health has 15 locations, but like Beaumont does not break them out by location. Total # of beds is 2417. Here are the locations:
Lakeland Medical Center – St. Joseph (290 beds)
Lakeland Hospital Watervliet (44 beds)
Lakeland Hosptial Niles
United Hospital Greenville (88 beds)
Reed City (75 beds)
Pennock [Hastings, MI] (25 beds)
Ludington Hospital (45 beds)
Kelsey Hospital [Lakeview, MI] (43 beds)
Gerber Memorial [Fremont, MI] (25 beds)
Butterworth Hospital [Grand Rapids] (1387 beds)
Blodgett Hosptial [Grand Rapids] (291 beds)
Big Rapids (49 beds)
Helen Devos Childrens Hospital [Grand Rapids]
Zeeland (55 beds)
Covid-19 positive patients reported at these hospitals:
July 1st: 24 patients
July 8th: 32 patients
As you can see from the data, despite what the media would tell you…we are doing fine as far as our health care system is concerned. We are no where near the peak we had in April.
I would remind everyone that lock downs were done so we would not overwhelm our healthcare system.
Pssst, ther is NO pandemic.
