      Morning Wee, spent the afternoon at my mum’s house yesterday (7 baby swans have made it the size where their only real predator would be a giant snapping turtle that might snap leg off and make them incapable of flight), this group is leery of people so we don’t feed or approach them so no good pictures, plus I didn’t have my camera yesterday as it was a spur of the moment visit because I was in the area.

      Anyhow! I had a taste for Yummo’s deep dish pizza. I ordered it for pick up and took my mum just to get her out of the house, on the way there my mum says “Do you have a mask?”

      Me “Nope.”

      Her “You can’t go in anywhere here without a mask.”

      Me “I’ll go in alone, you’ll stay in the car. I promise it won’t be a problem.”

      She gives me a list of lots of reasons they won’t give me my pizza.

      Me “It will be ok.”

      We get to Yummo’s and there are two ladies (unassociated with Yummo’s standing outside), there is a huge sign in the door that reads something like “YOU MUST WEAR A FACE COVERING TO ENTER” in probably 8 inch bold letters.

      The ladies in their masks are looking at me like I’m crazy, I walk into the establishment, walk up to the counter, give them my name, the very courteous gentleman gets me my pizza, I pay, we chat a little bit about the economy coming back and he wishes me a good day.

      I leave walk passed the masked ladies who if they were wearing pearls would be clutching them and go back to my car, hand my mum our pizza and drove back to her house.

      They can take their state mandated masks and …..

      (Originally had the establishments name in the post but decided that some nut case no life vigilante may be snooping and report Yummo’s to someone for serving me and I don’t want to be the reason they get hassled.)

      Good day to you, WeeWeed! The only time I wear a mask is at the doctor’s or in a medical lab because they won’t let you in without wearing one (guess they haven’t read the article…LOL!). Since I go nowhere except those two places, over all it’s not an issue.

      I’ve sent articles similar to this one to my friends who are petrified of NOT wearing a mask, and they send me articles saying the opposite. If someone wants to wear a mask, that’s their business as long as they don’t try to tell me I’m inconsiderate because I don’t wear one while taking my trash to the bin. It’s simply going to play out as it plays out.

      Hey Wee Weed. I’m right there with you, masks are a bunch of crap and nothing but the latest virtue signaling fashion statement, like a Che t-shirt. In fact, I’m surprised I haven’t seen a Che t-shirt made into a face mask!

      Thanks for the American Thinker link, I don’t always make it over there. And I love Dr. Ted Noel. He’s the retired anesthesiologist who presented numerous videos in 2016 documenting his very credible belief that Hillary has Parkinson’s Disease. If you skipped his first link (homemade cloth masks), DO go back and click it. I haven’t laughed so hard in weeks! Thigh-slapping, tear-producing, rolling on the floor guffaws. DH thought I’d lost it for good.

    I am seeing doctors speaking out about how it is bad to wear the masks. It deprives you of oxygen. I would think that is especially bad for older people.

      Cases of bacterial pneumonia are rising, there is a simple cause and effect reason for that.

      Absolutely useless for the general public. In less than an hour, causes low oxygen (hypoxia) and high carbon dioxide (hypercapnia) levels, which cause headaches and poor sleep. Likewise, social distancing is completely ineffective at less than 20 feet. If you are sick, stay home!

    Mornin’ all. Sunny here. Probably going to be a really hot day. Humid at least. Not sure I am even going to open the door, much less go out. Oh, wait, I have to go out to get the mail after they come this afternoon. Oh, well. Maybe I will just wait until morning. LOL

        You’re a better person than me Aus. I don’t believe it, she went home and only called the doctors or police hours later (?) I can’t remember which, just more baloney in my opinion, I think it is more likely she did something stupid to burn her face and then thought up a BS story with some help from mutual agitators.

        What are the chances of four racists white guys hanging out in Madison (Wisconsin’s most liberal seat) and finding a black (biracial woman) with her window down, squirting her with lighter fluid and then throwing a lighter on her (how did th lighter stay lit) plus the liquid wasn’t gasoline it was I think butane ? which doesn’t light the same way, then she patted the flames out and drove off? Where’s the lighter it should have finger prints on it.

        Madison has camera’s so it should be easily proven or disproven.

          If the story is true, the men need to be prosecuted, of course. However, who in their right mind wouldn’t go to an emergency or at the very least report it immediately! Also, if she didn’t save the lighter which would have fingerprints, then her story is just another attention-getter. I do sincerely hope the authorities investigate thoroughly.

      And I noticed on the site that the story about the white guy in Connecticut who called 911 on the black guys and identified himself as ‘God’ was put in four different places for you to click on. It’s ‘everyone gang up on white folks’ time.

          Meanwhile the black killings go on unabated in NOLA. The TV news is paying them short shrift, the ones the cover just being referred to as shootings with a fatality…or two…or more. Details that might suggest the identity of the shooters is usually heavily glossed over, most reportings not even showing the map locations so that heavily ethnic areas aren’t identified though natives know where the shootings are anyway. If you can’t change the actors’ behaviors you change the narrative.

    New Orleans mayor is having people report businesses and folks in public sans mask. Noble! Community sensitive! Public spirited! Problem is people are reporting that when they leave a tip the operators are telling them they need the reporter’s name and phone number…no word on if the city’s trapping and memorializing their phone numbers either.

    My question is what they’ll do with this information and how long they’ll keep it. As we’re most likely not going to see any more minorities reporting non-mask wearing public than we do serious violent crimes, might this be an attempt (as it’s ‘alleged the city does with crime) to suppress the true numbers of malefactors by discouraging reporting? No reports, no actual occurrences so 100% of the people must be complying.
