    17 shootings in 5 days in NOLA, worst violence in over 5 years. Here we are with local and imported protesters police brutality and the police have not shot anyone yet 17 citizens have been shot.

    Media’s twisting themselves into pretzels trying not to mention whom the shooters or even the shootees are but given the areas you can be pretty sure that they aren’t Mormon missionaries on their ways home. Nothing substantive from mayor or city council…just wondering when the mayor, city council and/or activists will blame the shootings on ‘prior and ongoing police brutality’. The blue-eyed devil made me do it.

      Yeah, the BLM protesters, after the limited destruction in Pittsburgh moved too the suburbs. The BLM moved thru a very classy suburb, and the press forgot too show the residents sitting on there porches with those “black rifles.” The protesters march another 2-3 miles, then back on the bus.

      Per usual. MSM is also twisting itself in knots over poor Rayshard Brooks and the fact that it was his daughters birthday, not mentioning he went to jail for 7 years for beating a child, (was it this daughter?) and was only out on parole due to the Chinese Virus.

        Beautiful country–land, sea and sky. I used to work with a woman born in Russia before the revolution and subsequently lived in China and Chile. Her husband became a military advisor to Augusto Pinochet, the Chilean dictator. She said he was gracious and intelligent but she didn’t bother to talk about the dictator part. Their incredible estate in Los Angeles was chock full of furniture, art and mementos of their life and travel in Chile. I’m sure there was a whole lot more to the story than she ever told me.

    Interesting thread by Carlos.

    He predicts that President Trump will win, I predict President Trump will win in a landslide.

    The riots, the demonizing of police, the glorifying of BLM and Antifa by the MSM has fundamentally changed (IMO) millions of Reagan Democrats and even the blue collar Obama voters. Many of theTrump haters are going to vote for President Trump.(Some of them secretly.)

    I personally know several people who hate President Trump (well they hate the imagined version of President Trump painted in their head by the MSM) but they are voting for him in 2020.

    My opinion is that the politically unaware and obtuse will be voting for President Trump, they have seen Team Biden, the raging mobs and they are going to be voting against the democrats path of death and destruction. Finally the reality of the Liberal’s Utopia is playing out in full force, many Democrats and wishy washy Republicans do not like what they see.

    This is the face of the modern democrat party. This is the face of Biden.

    I had a delicious vegetarian dinner tonight. Baked potato and roasted vegetables (red onion, leeks, garlic, new potatoes, beets, yellow squash, red bell pepper, radishes, a few crimini mushrooms and sugar snap peas added for the last 20 minutes.) Basically I just cleaned out the refrigerator! Tossed everything in olive oil, salted and peppered and roasted on a big sheet pan.
