Late night tonite, I let the blond hound BD out for her last pottie break before bed and she AND the black and white inside-outside cat took off together to go play. B&W cat came home about a half-hour later, blond dog just came home…her excuse was that ‘she was looking for the cat’.

Around the US the issue of deaths in nursing homes was broached long before that of the number of minority deaths and the reasons minorities are dying in numbers disproportionate to their numbers in society.

We can’t talk openly about why the minority deaths and nursing home deaths are interconnected, that’s reserved for private meetings as it’s non-PC and against the modern minority narrative. Instead we hear that the reasons minorities have these [problems are all OUR faults.

Nursing homes exist on minimum wage workers, if you’ve ever had experiences in civil or criminal courts with nursing home workers you’ll know the problem. There are RNs and therapists at the homes but they are expensive and usually are more supervisory in nature than hands-on, rather uneducated assistants and aides being the norm. You get what you pay for and if you’ve ever spent time in nursing homes you know the low-paid staff work isn’t at hospital-clean standards. You get every disease running through the community shooting through the nursing homes but as the residents are sick and/or old no one in the community notices and causes of death get that old ‘determination of convenience’ treatment.

A lot of folks use the nursing homes as dumping grounds and owners frequently have little hand-shake relationships with politicians that prevent effective oversight of the residences. Also, not all states require workers and/or residents of nursing homes to have flu vaccinations…what’s going to change when a COVID vaccine comes along?

It’s no wonder Schiff is deflecting to China — transcripts would reveal too much.

Why Don’t I Hate Donald Trump?
    By Peter Darrow – May 6, 2020

Why do you not like Donald Trump? I asked my brother. “Because he is a d—” was his reply. Such a deep, meaningful answer!

I had never been a political person. To be honest, politics bored me. In any debates, I always took the middle option as I did not have the knowledge and experience to express an opinion. It was not until Trump began his campaign that I started to investigate whether I was right- or left-wing.

You know what, Stella? We missed one today. Gov Chris Christie won a unanimous decision today at SCOTUS, re: Bridgegate.
Remember, Chris Christie was the first big political guy to support Donald Trump for President (not Jeff Sessions, as Sessions loves to boast). For that, Guv Chrisite will always be a good guy, to me.
