“You, My Love” These two elements–Frank Sinatra’s song accompanied by mallards–each is wonderful, but placed together just cracks me up. Hahahahahah!

Mallards live on our lake, but never see more thwn two or three at a time. I’m sure they go other places, but I never notice them coming or going. Maybe cause they are smaller birds, and the geese, egrets, eagles and cormorants are showier.

Fun to have such a variety of birds on your own property. An upscale housing area a block over from where I live has a manmade lake where Canada geese, Mallards and other water fowl congregate. Love seeing and hearing the geese flying overhead.

News tonite let slip that NASA’s going to put Tom Cruise onto the International Space Station to make a movie…didn’t seem to be a lot of interest in that and no one asked if they were going to bring him back.

Aside from the irony of putting a Scientologist into space there’s the issue of why someone more deserving wasn’t chosen? No teacher, no nurse, no one spending his/her life actually doing something FOR humanity could make a movie in space? NASA sends an over-privileged Hollywood brat who could have made the movie more cheaply on a Hollywood soundstage, you know like they did the moon landing?…but then why not just spend them taxpayer $$$$$s?

There’s a national war against Christianity and Judaism but Scientology not only gets a free pass but tacit support by government.

        • Exactly! Kinda like people can’t go to church, but liquor stores are open. Liquor is “essential”, but church and the freedom to worship ain’t.

Isaiah…truth is trampled in the streets.

          What an upside down world!

If you look back at the early days of European Communism you’ll see their doctrine encompassed many of the same libertine philosophies we see the Progs pushing.

Religion is an organized way of the people voluntarily controlling those base, animal instinctsand desires that work againt a civilized society. By destroying that voluntary control and allowing the animal to come out things will degenerate to a point where peoplev will demand state control…and then it’s all over.

We see that with the COVID where somepeople are so scared, thanks tomedia and government panic mongering, they’re willing to give up self-government for perceived safety.

            • I saw that personally in the UK decades ago…

It was called the Fabian Society.

Oxford and Cambridge were steeped in long before my time in the UK.

Rudyard Kipling’s poem, THE GODS OF THE COPYBOOK HEADINGS pretty much summed it up…1919 at the end of WW1.

Again, so applicable…over and over and over again.

A few short years ago the progs/pervs tried to get the minimum age of consent dropped below the teens, they had any number of ‘educated’ reasons. Luckily someone came to their senses and that was quashed…for the time being.

The number of chicken hawks in the judicial and political fields has always surprised me. We had a interesting case of a well-known chicken hawk who had the ability to procure that never did make it to court despite two solid cases against him. The judicial system just buried the cases by continuing them to the point where the defense could move for dismissal on the grounds of the lack of a speedy trial. DA’s office and the courts (Democrats all) just let the cases slide.

                • This kind of thing “almost” cancels out any little bit of mercy left in my heart, and after E.Bloc countries, Cambodia, Rwanda and Bosnia, there wasn’t a lot left in me. But still, I don’t want to be empty of that…but by God and Justice…some people just need to be…..xxxxxxxd

I have to believe it is only the stabalizing power of the Lord in our hearts that keeps some of us from completely losing it and going off the deep end.

You and I and others learned a long time ago, solid cases hardly matter in a rigged system…something our POTUS is well aware of.

But still, we can’t let our guard down, not for a minute, because the machine will steamroll right over us if we do.

I thank God for the souls who diligently pay attention and speak out, people like you and me, friends here at Stella’s, others like Thomas Lifeson, Selwyn Duke, Lloyd Marcus, all of whom I have enjoyed great communications with.

If you go down, well by God, do it with your sword on fire.

Appreciate you, bro. I was kinda braggin’ to Valerie Curren earlier today about you being my #1 NOLA go to guy over here…and I teased her about the best tamale stand ever…and you know who that was! 😁

                  • Thank you for the biblical reminders of the stark reality of both sides of the God coin, references I have used and lived by for decades.

UR just the one I would have to know that you knew.

You actually got the mission done of cheering up my hard-edged, dark day up.

The Bible is the first great book that teaches “situational awareness.” It is actually extremely advanced in that area. You can, military wise, be situational aware, but still end up dead in the water without the wisdom of spiritual situational awareness…doves and serpents…

So I’m giving you a “like” here for your comment on CTH.

              You pretty much nailed that.

Man, I gotta think you’re one of past “hammer” brothers!

Btw, my military nickname was…Hammer and Nails. You being a military man yourself…I know I don’t have to explain that.

Anybody in construction who has used 22+oz hammers knows how quick you can beat a huge penny nail down! Sometimes in one shot! 😁

Harlan Ellison, a science fiction writer, was a pal of a friend of mine. Ellison told her and I also read somewhere about the night he and L. Ron Hubbard went to dinner together and were talking about religion. Hubbard swore to him that he could create a religion easy and in no time would have thousands of followers.

Ellison apparently laughed it off but we all know what Hubbard did. Amazing fraud. Cult leaders become addicted to the power and thrill in the ability to manipulate unhappy, vulnerable and gullible folk. Excellent fodder for psychopaths.

Excellent fodder for a wood chipper. I have friends in LEA who’ve sworn for years that Scientology should be considered a criminal enterprise. Some swear that the cult wouldn’t hesitate to go to a ‘wet’ excommunication if the need be. An insult to the 1sr Amendment.

I hate to put up bad news, but I came across this. Wonder if the shooter has spoken to the CIA, FBI, or some other letter gov agency? He was working on the COVID-19 virus and someone he knew shot him and then killed himself. :\

Oh, wow, too many “hes” in that. 🙄 It was written in haste, obviously. What it should have said was, “The scientist was working onthe COVID-19 virus and someone he knew (the shooter) shot him and then killed himself. Better?
