Good morning to all. Halfway point of Holy Week. Paul, Apostle of Christ is 99 cents to rent on Amazon. I really loved this movie. I expected it to be good, and it did not disappoint. The best ending too. You know it will be good, but it is just done with expressions on faces.

If you want to watch the movie don’t watch this ending scene. It doesn’t really give anything away, but still, save it for the movie.

Mornin’ everyone. Looking forward to some more good news today, maybe some more firings maybe hearing that President Trump has seen that video of Dr. Fauci and that reporter giving each other the “good job” signs, and hopefully PM Johnson is better.

The Latest Drive to Blame Trump
By Mario Alexis Portella – April 8, 2020

The idea that a global pandemic is “not anyone’s fault” is unthinkable, and President Trump is a ready foil, as Van Buren stated. The Democrats and media have spent three years seeding our thoughts that Trump is deadly and must be removed from office. They were unable to get him on the Mueller Russiagate or the Ukrainian quid pro quo, so now they are grasping at the coronavirus, despite not having their facts straight once again.

I talked with my DIL today. She said they were trying to decide what to do with the money they will get from the Gov. My son is working from home and this hasn’t financially hurt them at all.

Their first inclination was to put it in savings, but they know the economy needs to be restarted and the money needs to be put back in the economy. So, they are trying to figure out ways to do this. One thing they will do is pay their oldest child’s piano teacher. She has been working with him with Zoom, I think it was. But, his other job is tuning pianos and he tunes theirs twice a year. So, they are going to go ahead and pay him and then let him tune the piano when he can.

I have already decided to buy a few gift cards from restaurants I like to frequent. I am going to try to think of some other ways to use it.

Linda Tripp, the Clinton sex scandal whistleblower, dies at age 70 ‘after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer less than a week ago’

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8201623/Monica-Lewinsky-tweets-wishes-Clinton-sex-scandal-whisteblower-Linda-Tripp-dying.html

Linda Tripp died this morning with her husband and daughter at her bedside, DailyMail.com has learned.

Tripp, whose taped conversations with Monica Lewinsky nearly brought down the Clinton presidency, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer less than a week ago when she took herself to hospital suffering from stomach pains.

Husband Dieter Rausch and their daughter Allison Foley were the only relatives allowed to be in Tripp’s room in the ICU due to coronavirus protocols.

Me too. Apparently she had breast cancer a while ago. I sometimes think that when somebody has had cancer, the treatment can weaken the immune system, and they get cancer again.

My niece had leukemia at age eight, spent a whole year at St. Jude. The doctors told her parents that she would indeed have increased odds of getting other cancers the rest of her life.

That’s when I learned that most people who have cancers actually die of things caused by their compromised immune systems rather than the cancer. Many people do not make it through treatment because of that. I just had never heard that until then, and never had cause to think about it.

So far it has been over twenty years since she was diagnosed, and she has four children now. Not without other complications from the treatment, but at this time, none huge and life threatening.

That’s good news about your niece. I have seen what you described in three people that I know/knew, so far. One was cured of lymphoma, then had life threatening pneumonia, and finally died of pancreatic cancer. One died of recurring breast cancer (10 years later). The third had life threatening side effects from chemotherapy, but is okay at the moment.

I forwarded the thread from yesterday about the quarantine to my DIL. She thought it was hilarious. She thought the statement about the 2 students fighting and the teacher being fired were especially funny. And, she does homeschool. She said she decided the girls could have this week as Spring Break. But, she had trouble explaining it to her 4 yr old who can’t seem to understand why they can’t do schoolwork, which she loves to do. LOL Her mother told her they were taking a break so they could come back refreshed next week. My DIL said she just looked at her like she wasn’t making sense. LOL
