Well isn’t that convenient.
I’d say transparency wasn’t critical either if my organization was a bunch of corrupt political hacks. Everyone in the FBI down to the last janitor needs to be fired.

Since standing them up against the wall and shooting them isn’t actually available, I will go along with you and have them fired. 😡

Here’s another dancing video! I think I liked the first one a bit better (they could have stopped with movies made after ’95 in this one) but I still like it, and the song is a bit more mild, too.
Once again, turn on captions to see the movie names.

Only thing that comes to mind is: A neutron walks into a bar and asks how much a beer is. “For you”, says the bartender, “no charge.”

The NO mayor is on TV now saying how the Federal Government needs to get their sh– in order and take care of NO. And, they can’t do the drive in testing because too many people in NO don’t have vehicles. Well, for goodness sakes, isn’t there anybody there who can think?!??? Maybe they could get in some vans and go to the people. Or, do they need the feds to come in and do that, too?
And, she is going on to accuse the Feds (Trump) of not telling them this was serious. It is all the Feds fault that they went on with Mardi Gras. What an a$$.

So all I take from that is that nothing has changed there since Hurricane Katrina.
All these Dem ‘leaders’ are incapable of thinking when someone they don’t like is in the White House. It’s strange.
LikeLiked by 2 people
Oh, don’t be silly. They are just incapable of thinking, period. Their only planning is for getting more power, control, and money.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Somehow they all manage to stay quiet if, say, a hurricane rips through the Northeast US and devastates the place when a Dem is in the White House.
Weird. 🤔

All part of the plan. 🙄

After billions spent on NOLA posty-Katrina the city STILL hasn’t got its s**t togeter. The city can drive these people to vote then why can’t they drive them to testing?
There are city contractors who fear that when the mayor’s Big Lie fails they’ll be set up for the blame so they’re coming out anonymously to say that they talked with city planners about the virus well before the SHTF about Mardi Gras and the city told them it wasn’t that worried and it would lose too much money if it cut Mardi Gras. Right now they’re anonymous as they’re afraid of losing contracts if they come OUT out but if the city starts to realign the blame hose they’ll spill the beans.

What was the word regarding your medical test (if you don’t mind me asking?) Was it a false alarm?

Hiya! She didn’t seem too alarmed about it. Made me another appointment to go back May 12 for a Stereotactic Biopsy. I told her that I couldn’t feel anything different, and she said she couldn’t feel anything either, so hopefully it’s nothing much. We’ll see, but we all have enough to worry about already!

I haven’t been too concerned about running out of supplies. I figure I can manage somehow without toilet paper. Water is still coming out of the faucet. But, this morning I was struck with sheer terror…………..I can’t seem to get anymore tea. I don’t know what I will do.

I’ve got about 2 months worth of TP. I use a lot at the best of times (tummy troubles) and I reckon we could get by for about 6 months on food. I’m not too worried, but DH will not be very satisfied with what he will have to eat! Oh well, He will just have to make do.
During WWII, England had a saying, “Make do and mend”. I just have to keep reminding him of good old Winston.

Next week starts my third week of being laid off from work thanks to ChiComVid-19. I am am introvert but even I am starting to wish I could go out. I keep busy with my books.
But I am immunocompromised so I have not been going out unless it was necessary. If only someone would apply that cluebat to the rest of the state; we’d have this blow over sooner.

And I have to say this book about Spanish flu would be better if this woke joke author would be less woke. “The flu brought home the need for free state run medicine.” Yes, the NHS does such a stellar job rationing healthcare across the pond. Definitely a good idea.

Remind the author about how state-run medicine is managing the virus in Italy. New figures are >10,000 dead with docs refusing med care to those over 60.

She doesn’t seem like the kind of woke liberal who would pay too much attention to the facts. Unless said facts hit her upside the head.

Oh, dear. I had recorded some horror movies to watch this afternoon and I just watched the first one. It was about some people in a hurricane. Totally improbably, or actually impossible. It was about a young girl in Florida DURING a hurricane who goes to the coast looking for her father. She finds him under the house (Don’t ask me why he was under the house, I never figured that out) and there were enormous alligators under there. They had evidently come in through the enormous drain pipe, which had to wire cover on it. On top of that they somehow had a helicopter fly in to rescue them…………………….nope, never happened. All emergency services are shut down during the hurricane. I know that for a fact. And, a helocopter flying in a hurricane?? Nope. I fast forwarded through it. They were rescued. Yeah, right.

I gave up on the second movie about women lost in a cave. I got tired after about the 10th f-word in a few minutes and the silliness of the plot. 🙄 I am now into Ghost Light. It seems a little more promising…………and it isn’t filmed in the dark.

I have Pluto TV on my phone and as I have been running out of podcasts to listen to, I have been watching movies on it.
It’s a bit of a crapshoot. Sounds like what you’re going through.

I sometimes like horror movies. I won’t watch anything that is about evil, like The Exorcist, but I like the scary monster movies, or sometimes end of the world types, although not the ones that are after the world is devastated. And, I only watch them on Sat. or Sun. afternoon.
